    摘要: There is proposed a battery with a large capacity that excels in safety. The safety valve is disposed to cover at least a portion of the center line of the lid plate between the pair of terminals for the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The distance from the center line of the lid plate to end portions of the components to be energized on the safety valve side is equal to or less than the distance from the center line of the lid plate to the outermost circumference of the safety valve. The shadow area obtained by projecting an opening portion of the safety valve in operation onto the plane of the lid plate does not overlap with the respective shadow areas obtained by projecting the electrically connected components, such as the external output terminals for the positive electrode and the negative electrode, onto the plane of the lid plate.

    摘要: The present invention provides a thermoelectric conversion module, comprising plural first electrode films (11, 12, 13) formed apart from each other on the top surface of an insulating body (10), plural p- and n-type thermoelectric semiconductor element films (16, 19) and (17, 18) formed thereon, which are arranged apart from each other so that p- and n-type thermoelectric semiconductor element films alternate with each other, and second electrode films (20) connecting p-type thermoelectric semiconductor element film (19) and n-type thermoelectric semiconductor element film (18) over the gaps between the first electrode films; and a terminal electrode is connected to each of the p-and n-type thermoelectric semiconductor element film (16, 17) at the end; and a production method thereof. The thermoelectric conversion module of the present invention, which can be produced at a low cost using thermoelectric conversion elements having a thin-film structure, is excellent in thermal stability and chemical durability and enables to secure high thermoelectric conversion efficiency.

    摘要: A speech spurt detecting apparatus for detecting speech spurts in a voice signal has a storage for storing an input voice signal. A decision portion determines speech spurt sections and mute sections using a threshold value and sets one of the mute sections at a latter part of a hangover time. A mute level statistical processor estimates the noise distribution of a signal in the mute sections. A speech spurt detecting threshold value decision portion receives the average and the variance of the noise distribution from the mute level statistical processor and approximates the noise distribution to a gamma distribution to decide a speech spurt detecting threshold. A speech spurt transmitting portion outputs the voice signal in the speech spurt sections from the storage. A speech spurt level statistical processor carries out statistical processing of the speech spurt sections. The speech spurt detecting threshold value decision portion detects an error of the speech spurt detecting threshold value using the speech spurt level statistical processor and the mute level statistical processor and resets the speech spurt detecting threshold value to its initial value if the error exceeds a predetermined value. The speech spurt detecting threshold value decision portion increases the speech spurt detecting threshold value at a fixed rate in each of the speech spurt sections, and computes (the average).sup.2 /(the variance) to obtain an adjusting coefficient and computes (the adjusting coefficient).times.(the average) to obtain the speech spurt detecting threshold value.
