The pressure valve is configured to be closed when the pressure of the lubricating oil is less than a predetermined value, and to open when the pressure of the lubricating oil is greater than or equal to the predetermined value. As a result, when the rotor is in low need for cooling down because the temperature rise of the rotor is small although the rotation speed of the rotor rises, that is, when the engine is operating at a low rotation speed with a high load, the supply of lubricating oil to the rotor is reduced or stopped.

A target moving speed of the armature relative to the electromagnets is determined dependent upon a spacing distance of the armature from the electromagnet; at least a part of energization of the electro-magnetically driven valve is controlled through feedforward control so as to make an actual moving speed of the armature relative to the electromagnets in conformity with the target moving speed while at least the other part of the energization is controlled through feedback control based upon a deviation of the actual moving speed from the target moving speed.

    摘要: In order to realize stable image printing, this invention provides an image printing apparatus capable of supplying a stable voltage to a printhead, and maintaining a compact shape. For this purpose, in the image printing apparatus in which a carriage which supports a printhead is scanned on a printing medium to print an image, a power converter which converts power to be supplied to the printhead is mounted on the first print circuit board of the carriage so as to supply a predetermined voltage to the printhead. The printhead and a power smoothing unit which smoothes the voltage converted by the power converter in accordance with the load of the printhead are mounted on the second print circuit board. The first and second print circuit boards are separately arranged at a proper gap in the image printing apparatus, which prevents an increase in the size of the image printing apparatus.
