摘要： An axle arrangement for a vehicular trailer is provided. This arrangement includes at least one rigid guide axle and therebehind a follower steering axle having wheel and tire assemblies that are connected to a rigid axle member via control levers and are interconnected via a tie bar. The axle members of the guide axle and of the follower steering axle are supported via connecting springs on brackets and pneumatic cushioning bellows that are secured to the chassis of the trailer. So that the follower steering axle can have the same connection dimension relative to the longitudinal members of the trailer as does the rigid guide axle, the connecting springs of the follower steering axle, between the forward brackets and the axle member, are bent inwardly toward the center of the axle member by an amount that is equal at most to half the difference between a center to center distance of the connecting springs of the rigid guide axle and the follower steering axle.

摘要： A stabilizing mechanism for a follower guide axle of a vehicle trailer. The wheels of the axle are mounted on the axle body of the latter via respective knuckle arms, and the wheels are interconnected via respective guide levers and a tie bar. To improve the stabilizing mechanism, respective pressure mountings are disposed between each of the knuckle arms and the axle body, with the pressure mountings having cooperating sliding surfaces that have a wavelike configuration. Each of the pressure mountings includes an upper pressure disk that is attached to the axle body, and a lower pressure disk that is attached to the knuckle arm. Springs are provided for stabilizing the pressure mountings in a starting position that is associated with straight-ahead travel.

摘要： A wheel support for trailer axles is provided, and includes tapered-roller bearings disposed on an axle neck; it also includes a hub that is rotatably mounted on the bearings. The hub serves for the mounting of a brake drum and a wheel, with a thrust washer being disposed between the axle neck and the inner tapered-roller bearing, and with an axle nut being screwed onto an outer thread of the axle neck outwardly of the outer tapered-roller bearing. To provide a partial preassembly and to simplify the mounting and removal of the wheel support, the thrust washer is secured in the hub via a first snap ring, the axle nut is provided with a collar that extends to the inner wall of the hub, and the axle nut is secured at its collar in the hub via a second snap ring.

摘要： A compound axle assembly having two or more wheel axles for trailers, the wheel axles of which are supported by longitudinal guides and are spring-suspended by pairs of leaf type springs, the central portions of which are connected to the axle bodies. The outer ends of the leaf type springs are slidingly supported in brackets that are secured to the chassis of a vehicle. The inner facing ends of the leaf type springs are slidingly supported on a compensating arm that is pivotably mounted in a bracket secured to the vehicle chassis. In order to effect the sliding support of the leaf type springs, and to improve the damping of noise, the ends of the leaf type springs, at least on the compensating or pendulum arm, rest under initial tension against their sliding elements via pivotably mounted holders and a roller secured between the latter.

摘要： A bearing bushing for a journal bearing of a brake shaft of a drum brake. One end of the bearing bushing, on the outside, is provided with a circumferential, annular grease recess for the introduction of grease. Branching off in the axial direction from this recess are distributing channels, and disposed as extensions thereof on the inside are lubricating channels which extend in the opposite axial direction. In order to improve the distribution of grease, and to improve the formation of a closed lubricating film, each distributing channel opens out into a hole, which are interconnected on the inside by a circumferential, first annular channel. The inner lubricating channels are disposed between the distributing channels, extend parallel thereto between the holes, and are connected to the first annular channel. The lubricating channels open out into a circumferential second annular channel, which is connected to at least one outlet channel.

摘要： A wheel-mounting arrangement for trailer axles, including tapered-roller bearings that are disposed on an axle spindle, and a hub that is rotatably mounted on the axle spindle via these tapered-roller bearings. A brake drum and a wheel or TRILEX star can be secured to the hub, which comprises an inner hub and an outer hub that is fixedly secured to the inner hub. In order to provide the wheel-mounting arrangement with emergency operation characteristics, the axle spindle has a tapered configuration in the region between the tapered-roller bearings, and the inner hub has a corresponding, inwardly projecting, tapered configuration between these same roller bearings. The tapered portions of the axle spindle and the inner hub together form a friction or sliding bearing for emergency operation.
