摘要： An offset correction analogic circuit capable of compensating the offset of a digital baseband is described. The circuit comprises analog means to receive an output differential signal issued from a differential signal path. The differential signal path may be a baseband filter as used in digital communication systems. The baseband filter inputs an input differential signal having an offset to be compensated. The output differential signal is fed into an analog integrator to generate a pulsed signal either on a first output line or on a second output line according to the polarity of the output differential signal. The pulsed signal is then integrated into a switched capacitor and a differential compensation offset signal is issued. The frequency of the pulsed signal is preferably proportional to the voltage value of the output differential signal. The compensation offset signal may be summed with the input differential signal into a summing circuit.

摘要： In an analog baseband signal processing system and method, gain and offset are measured for each of a plurality of stages. The DC content inherent to the amplifier and filter circuitry is measured by known means. A digital number for each gain and offset level is generated and converted to digital, numerical form of correction of each stage, and converted back to analog form to make the compensation without corrupting near DC signals. In a preferred form, first and second channels of the analog baseband signal processor are provided for in-phase and quadrature channels in a direct conversion, solid-state telephone receiver.

摘要： To provide a mixer/amplifier capable of providing variable gain while maintaining a substantially constant common mode operating voltage level and to maintain a substantially constant operating voltage in new, low voltage designs and to provide a mixer/amplifier in low-power direct conversion receiver. A low noise amplifier is provided in which a gain control signal is provided through a differential current source. Two output currents I1 and I2 are provided. I1+I2=a constant. I1 and I2 are mirrored in first and second paths, one including amplifier transistors and optionally a Gilbert cell multiplier. Irrespective of amplifier gain, the current through the two paths remains equal to I1 and I2, and common mode voltage remains constant.
