摘要： Provided herein are methods for preventing or treating cancer in a subject comprising overexpressing at least one Receptor for a lipid agonist, such as G-protein receptors for Resolvin. Such methods may be combined with administering Resolvins, or lipoxins and their analogs, of said Receptors to enhance the pro-resolution effects of the Resolvins, or lipoxins and their analogs, in the local, inflammatory environment where cancer cells are already present.

摘要： The invention provides new methods for inducing or promoting bone growth and/or for reducing or preventing bone deterioration in a mammal subject. The inventive methods generally comprise administering to the subject an effective amount of a resolving. In particular, the inventive methods may be useful for treating or preventing conditions associated with bone degradation, deterioration or degeneration such as periodontal disease, osteoarthritis, and metastatic bone disease and osteolytic bone disease. In particular, the present invention includes compositions and methods of integrally transformed non-pathogenic, commensal bacteria that can express a nucleic acid molecule of a foreign polypeptide, wherein the nucleic acid molecule that encodes the foreign polypeptide is stably integrated into genomic DNA of the bacteria. The foreign polypeptide includes a vaccine antigen that elicits an immunogenic response, an inhibitor of a pathogen, or an immune booster or modulator.
