Abstract:
A handle for use with a pick-up tool includes first and second side panels, a pivoting trigger, an integrated grip, and a locking mechanism for selectively locking the trigger. The trigger extends through an upper housing of the side panels, and the grip extends from a rear section of the upper housing. The locking mechanism may include a pin located within a slot formed within the trigger, and a locking pawl that has notches which are sized to be received by the pin. The locking mechanism may also include a torsion spring that has a first leg for coupling to the locking pawl, and a sliding thumb tab that is located in the rear section of the upper housing. The thumb tab may contain an engagement structure for selectively engaging the first leg of the torsion spring. In use, downward sliding of the thumb tab causes one of the notches of the locking pawl to engage the pin and effectively lock the trigger.
Abstract:
Provided is a hygienic wipes steamer for warming hygienic wipes. The hygienic wipes steamer comprises a housing assembly contains a liquid container, a roller assembly, a heater assembly and an ejector assembly. The liquid container stores a quantity of liquid. The roller assembly rotatably supports a roll of material and cuts the material into individual hygienic wipes during unwinding of the material. The heater assembly has a beating element and has steam holes formed therealong. The heater assembly is in fluid communication with the liquid container and receives hygienic wipes from the roller assembly. Upon activation of the hygienic wipes steamer, liquid flows into the heater assembly from the liquid container and is transformed into steam when heated by the heating element such that the steam passes through the steam holes and warms the hygienic wipe that is supported by the heater assembly. The ejector assembly ejects the warmed hygienic wipes from the hygienic wipes steamer.
Abstract:
A molded breast cup for use in brassieres and other garments. The breast cup comprises an outer layer, an inner layer and an intermediate reinforcing layer sandwiched between the outer and inner layer. A fusable material is provided on the surface of the intermediate layer confronting the outer layer and on the surface of the inner layer confronting the other two layers. The three layers are aligned in juxtaposed relation and molded between heated male and female molding members to form a unitary molded breast cup in which the intermediate layer provides reinforcement for the cup.
Abstract:
In accordance with one embodiment, a foot assembly for use with a walker may include an attachment assembly for engaging a leg tube of the walker. A coupling device, such as a screw, may be used to couple the attachment assembly with a slider foot. The coupling device permits rotational and angular movement between the attachment assembly and the slider foot. In some embodiments, the walker may include three or four legs which are connected by a structure which maintains the legs in a fixed spatial relationship. A separate foot assembly may be affixed to one or more of the legs of the walker.
Abstract:
An additive composition containing a substantially water-soluble, alternating copolymer of maleic acid and a conjugated diene such as butadiene for reducing the drift of aqueous spray compositions. Certain salts of the copolymer may also be employed and the aqueous spray compositions may either be water or water-containing compositions containing herbicides, plant growth regulators, fungicides, insecticides, bactericides, fertilizers, defoliants, seeds, and the like as well as mixtures thereof. The drift-inhibiting additive compositions of this invention may also be used in conjunction with water-based paints. A method of dispensing aqueous compositions on the ground utilizing the drift-inhibiting additive compositions is also encompassed by the invention.
