    摘要: A process and apparatus for producing a nanovoided article, a nanovoided coating, and a low refractive index coating is described. The process includes providing a first solution of a polymerizable material in a solvent; at least partially polymerizing the polymerizable material to form a composition that includes an insoluble polymer matrix and a second solution, wherein the insoluble polymer matrix includes a plurality of nanovoids that are filled with the second solution; and removing a major portion of the solvent from the second solution. An apparatus for the process is also described, and includes a webline, a coating section, a partial polymerization section, and a solvent removal section.

    摘要: The present invention provides a technique using current sensing to control the pressure at constant level without the direct sensing of the pressure. This technique will help to reduce dependency solely on switch or sensor and their non linearity and other associated problems such as the non-repetitive behavior, being affected by EMI etc. The technique includes using a pump controller featuring one or more modules configured to respond to one or more input signals containing information about current provided from a pump; and configured to provide one or more output signals containing information to control the pump to operate at a substantially constant pressure without the direct sensing of pump pressure. The one or more modules control the operation of the pump based at least partly on a table of characteristics related to voltage and current that is calibrated for each pump.

    摘要: A continuous gravity flow apparatus for heating and/or drying of particulate material is vertically disposed and is provided with an inlet at the top and an outlet at the bottom. The apparatus includes a flow passage for the particulate material which is defined between an outer housing and an inner housing. Each of the outer and inner housing defines perforated wall sections allowing for the flow of hot gas through the wall of one housing, into contact with the particulate material, and then out through the wall of the other housing. Manifolds are associated with the outer and inner housings to provide for uniform flow of the gas through the material. The perforated wall sections are positioned and designed to enhance particle-to-particle movement of the material to thereby avoid particle sticking and bridging problems.

    摘要: The present invention provide a new and unique macerator assembly or device for coupling and decoupling to a waste disposal port of a holding tank of a recreational vehicle, train, airplane, bus, boat or other portable toilet application for emptying the same. The macerator assembly includes a pump head adaptor and a macerator pump subassembly. The pump head adaptor has means for coupling the macerator device to the waste disposal port of the holding tank, and has a pump head inlet adapter with a garden hose adapter arranged therein for receiving water from a garden hose for flushing the holding tank. The macerator pump subassembly is coupled to the pump head adapter, has an in-take port for receiving waste from the holding tank through the pump head adaptor, has a rotary blade for chopping the waste, and has a discharge port for discharging the waste to a suitable discharge waste repository.
