    摘要: A method, apparatus and system related to zero-configuration remote control of device(s) coupled to a networked media device through a client side device communicatively coupled with the networked media device are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of a client device includes determining that an internet protocol address and a port from an unannounced device is associated with a networked media device. The client device constrains an executable environment in a security sandbox. Then, the client device executes a sandboxed application in the executable environment using a processor and a memory. Next, the client device automatically instantiates a connection between the sandboxed application and the unannounced device associated with the networked media device based on the determination that the internet protocol address of the port from the unannounced device is associated with the networked media device. The unannounced device may utilize a web services interface and/or an infrared remote control interface. The networked media device may utilize an InfraRed (IR) blaster to associate with the unannounced device instead of the internet protocol address and the port when the unannounced device utilizes an infrared remote control interface.

    摘要: A phased split-pitch barrel loader for a packaging machine has a leading loader arm assembly and a trailing loader arm assembly. Each loader arm assembly has a loader arm that carries a loader face on one end and the loader arm is extendable and retractable on guide rails. One loader arm is driven in a downstream direction by a first set of endless chains and the other is driven by a second set of endless chains. One of the endless chains can be advanced or retarded in phase relative to the other to move the loader arms further apart or closer together as they move in the downstream direction. This moves the loader faces further apart or closer together and the loader faces have fingers that interleave when the loader faces are brought together. Thus, a composite loader face having a predetermined area can be formed by moving the loader arm assemblies closer together or farther apart. The composite loader face is sized in each case to correspond to groups of articles such as beverage cans of different sizes and/or different configurations.

In one embodiment, a method includes determining that a user is likely viewing a networked media device and/or accessing a client device while viewing the networked media device, determining that the content currently being displayed on the networked media device is associated with a motion-video advertisement through an automatic content recognition algorithm applied to the networked media device, selecting an alphanumeric advertisement formatted for a display area of the client device based on contextual match between the motion-video advertisement and/or the alphanumeric advertisement, and/or delivering the alphanumeric advertisement to the client device while the motion-video advertisement is still rendering on the networked media device.

The client device may be configured to automatically process an identification data of the networked device and/or the sandbox-reachable service of the networked device from the discovery module and to automatically associate with the networked device based on the identification data.
