摘要:
The present disclosure includes, among other things, systems, methods and program products for virtual machine communication. For example, one or more aspects of the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in one or more methods that include constructing a first message on behalf of a first program executing in a first virtual machine. A second virtual machine is selected from one or more virtual machines. Security information for the first program is communicated to the second virtual machine. The first message is communicated from the first virtual machine to the second virtual machine, the first message to be processed by the second virtual machine with regard to the security information.

Compositions and methods for conferring insecticidal activity to host cells are provided. Compositions comprising a coding sequence for a delta-endotoxin polypeptide are provided. The coding sequences can be used in DNA constructs or expression cassettes for transformation and expression in host cells. Compositions also comprise transformed host cells. In particular, isolated delta-endotoxin nucleic acid molecules are provided. Additionally, amino acid sequences corresponding to the polynucleotides are encompassed, and antibodies specifically binding to those amino acid sequences. In particular, the present invention provides for isolated nucleic acid molecules comprising nucleotide sequences encoding the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO:4, 5, 6, 13, or 14, or the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1, 2, 3, 11, or 12, as well as variants and fragments thereof.

An ion source has an arc chamber with an electron-emitting element and a repeller. A manifold assembly defines a cavity and a gas outlet configured to allow gas flow to the arc chamber. This gas outlet is closer to the repeller than the electron-emitting element. In one embodiment, the ion source has a first crucible and a second crucible. The first crucible and the second crucible are connected to the manifold assembly. In one instance, the crucibles have tamper-resistant features.

Techniques for providing ion source feed materials are disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a container for supplying an ion source feed material. The container may comprise an internal cavity to be pre-filled with an ion source feed material. The container may also comprise an outer body configured to be removably loaded into a corresponding housing that is coupled to an ion source chamber via a nozzle assembly. The container may further comprise an outlet to seal in the pre-filled ion source feed material, the outlet being further configured to engage with the nozzle assembly to establish a flow path between the internal cavity and the ion source chamber. The container may be configured to be a disposable component.

A hybrid vane (50) for a gas turbine engine having a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) airfoil member (52) bonded to a substantially solid core member (54). The airfoil member and core member are cooled by a cooling fluid (58) passing through cooling passages (56) formed in the core member. The airfoil member is cooled by conductive heat transfer through the bond ((70) between the core member and the airfoil member and by convective heat transfer at the surface directly exposed to the cooling fluid. A layer of insulation (72) bonded to the external surface of the airfoil member provides both the desired outer aerodynamic contour and reduces the amount of cooling fluid required to maintain the structural integrity of the airfoil member. Each member of the hybrid vane is formulated to have a coefficient of thermal expansion and elastic modulus that will minimize thermal stress during fabrication and during turbine engine operation.

A package coding system for a cigarette manufacturing process is provided. An imprinting device imprints an alphanumeric code on each of a series of cigarette packages. A conveyor device conveys the cigarette packages in a feed direction. An inspection device is operably engaged with the conveyor device and inspects the alphanumeric code imprinted on each cigarette package conveyed by the conveyor device to determine whether any of the cigarette packages includes a defect in the imprinted alphanumeric code, and thus comprises a defective cigarette package. A removal device is operably engaged with the conveyor device and is configured to be in communication with the inspection device. The removal device is configured to remove the defective cigarette package from the series of cigarette packages conveyed by the conveyor device in response to identification thereof by the inspection device. An associated method is also provided.

A body hanger bracket aligns and attaches an accent panel to a vehicle body panel. The hanger bracket includes selectively detachable first and second alignment tabs. The first alignment tab engages a horizontal indexing feature on the vehicle body panel for aligning the hanger bracket horizontally and the second alignment tab engages a vertical indexing feature on the vehicle body panel for aligning the hanger bracket vertically. After the hanger bracket is aligned and attached to the body panel, the first and second alignment tabs are detached. The accent panel is then attached to the hanger bracket.

A combustion catalyst coating (36) applied to the surface of a ceramic thermal barrier coating (34) which is supported by a metal substrate (32). The microstructure of the thermal barrier coating surface provides the necessary turbulent flow and surface area for interaction of the catalyst and a fuel-air mixture in a catalytic combustor of a gas turbine engine. The temperature gradient developed across the thermal barrier coating protects the underlying metal substrate from a high temperature combustion process occurring at the catalyst surface. The thermal barrier coating deposition process may be controlled to form a microstructure having at least one feature suitable to interdict a flow of fuel-air mixture and cause the flow to become more turbulent than if such feature did not exist.
