    Abstract: A power distribution unit (PDU) includes a housing, a power input extended from the housing, and at least one electrical receptacle removably attached to the housing and configured to be electrically connected to the power input. The at least one electrical receptacle can include a base surface and an inner core extended from the base surface. The inner core can include an outer surface configured to mate with a first connector type. An outer wall can be positioned around the inner core, the outer wall including an inner surface configured to receive a connector type. The outer wall can include a first end and a second end each positioned on a common side. A locking mechanism can be extended between the first and second ends, the locking mechanism including a locking catch arm configured to pivot and engage with a shoulder of an electrical plug.

    Abstract: An electronic equipment enclosure includes a frame structure and a customizable side air dam kit. The frame structure includes a front frame, a rear frame, front-to-back frame members connecting corners of the front and rear frames together, reinforced bracket structures located near ends of the cross members, and extruded horizontal mounting rails parallel to, but inward from, the front-to-back frame members. The ends of the horizontal mounting rails are connected to the reinforced bracket structures. Panels are installed in longitudinal slots in the front-to-back frame members and horizontal mounting rails, each of which is extruded. The customizable side air dam kit includes a framework of horizontal and vertical frame pieces, adapted to connect to the frame structure, and a customizable air dam panel supported by the framework. A plurality of the frame pieces are provided to an installer for use in constructing the framework to fit the specific frame structure.

    Abstract: A hinge assembly includes first and second hinge units and an electrically conductive pin. The first hinge unit is mounted to a frame structure of an enclosure and includes a pin support comprising a barrel, a knuckle, or both, a pin receptacle arranged in the pin support, and an electrically conductive structure disposed at least partly inside the pin support and adjacent the pin receptacle. The pin rotates in the pin receptacle. The second hinge unit is carried on the pin and is door mounted. The second hinge unit and door can be removed from the first. The electrically conductive structure is biased against the pin and remains in contact while the pin rotates, and is electrically connected to the enclosure when the first hinge unit is mounted to it such that the pin is electrically bonded to the enclosure while the pin rotates.

    Abstract: An electronic equipment structure includes a frame structure having a plurality of interconnected vertical and horizontal frame members, an accessory part including a recessed area and an elongate opening located therein, and a fastener. One of the vertical frame members includes a closed profile and a channel extending a length thereof, and one of the horizontal frame members is a structural member having a closed profile that includes a T-slot channel and a recessed groove extending a length thereof, the recessed groove including a row of mounting apertures arranged therein. The accessory part is arranged such that the recessed area is in alignment with the recessed groove of the structural member. The extending through the elongate opening of the accessory part and one of the mounting apertures of the recessed groove such that the fastener does not protrude beyond an outward-facing surface of the accessory part.

    Abstract: An electronic equipment enclosure includes a frame structure at least partially enclosed by a plurality of panels defining a compartment in which one or more electronic components are mounted and an exhaust air duct that is adapted to segregate hot air being exhausted from the compartment from cool air entering the compartment, thereby improving thermal management of the enclosure. The exhaust duct includes a lower duct section extending upward from the top panel of the compartment and an upper duct section telescoping upward from an upper end of the lower duct section. Each duct section includes four panels connected together by hinged corner fittings such that the section is collapsible. The upper duct section includes an outwardly flared portion.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle unit with locking feature includes a receptacle adapted to be electrically connected to a source of electricity. The receptacle includes an electrical fitting having electrical contacts contained therein and/or extending therefrom, a socket surrounding the electrical fitting, and a plate disposed at a front of the socket. The electrical receptacle unit further includes a locking bracket that includes a central portion having first and second ends, a lock tab extending from a side of the central portion, and a pair of support arms, each extending forwardly from a respective one of the first and second ends. The locking bracket is pivotably secured to the plate, with at least a portion of each support arm positioned within a respective notched area of the plate. The locking bracket is pivotable relative to the plate between a first position, whereby a plug electrically seated within the socket is unobstructed, and a second position, whereby the plug electrically seated within the socket is obstructed from removal by the lock tab.

    Abstract: A hot/cold aisle air containment room includes a plurality of electronic equipment enclosures at least partially defining an interior aisle, a frame structure supporting one or more ceiling panels above the interior aisle, and a door assembly. The door assembly includes a sliding door and an unpowered door closer mechanism adapted to move the sliding door from an open state to a closed state, thereby providing controlled access to the interior aisle and minimizing intermixing of hot air and cold air between an environment external to the hot/cold aisle air containment room and an environment internal to the hot/cold aisle air containment room.
