The disclosed acetylated cellulose ether has a degree of substitution (DS) of alkyl group of 1 to 2, a molar substitution (MS) of hydroxyalkyl group of 0 to 1, and a degree of substitution (DS) of acetyl group of 1 to 2; and a bulk density of 0.1 to 0.4.
