Abstract: The present specification relates to a computer-implemented method for providing at least one note taking user interface setting for a digital writing system, comprising obtaining at least one time series of data related to a progression of an education resource, recognizing the education resource based on the at least one time series of data, thereby yielding an education resource identifier specifying the education resource, selecting the at least one note taking user interface setting for the digital writing system based on the education resource identifier, and applying the at least one note taking user interface setting for the digital writing system as the education resource progresses, wherein the at least one note taking user interface setting for the digital writing system is deemed to be conducive to a learning success based on other users' having taken notes for the education resource.

Abstract: Coupling for a razor, comprising a first component, a second component rotatable relative thereto about a rotational axis extending therebetween, and a rotation limit, a male part thereof extending along the rotational axis into a female part thereof. The male and female parts are shaped to define one or more rotational stops to the rotation of one of the first and second components about the rotational axis relative to the other. A resilient protrusion of the second component, receivable in a recess of the first component, bends elastically in response to a force applied during shaving that rotates the one component about the rotational axis relative to the other component, and biases them towards a neutral position once the force is stopped. Fabrication of the coupling. Razor and handle comprising the coupling.

Abstract: A blade storage system for a refillable shaving head including a guard and a cover movable with respect to the guard between a retaining position, in which the cover and guard are able to retain a blade between them and a releasing position. The blade storage system including: a dispensing portion configured to retainably connect the blade to the cover of the head, and a removing portion configured to disconnect the blade from the cover. The removing portion is configured to disconnect the blade from the cover by moving the blade with respect to the cover along a bearing direction, along which the cover is configured to bear on the blade during retention of the blade to the head, and/or the dispensing portion is configured to connect the blade to the cover by moving the blade with respect to the cover opposite to the bearing direction.

Abstract: A smart shaving system with a three-dimension (3D) camera assists the user of a shaving razor. The 3D camera is communicatively connected to the shaving razor and to a razor cartridge vendor platform via an Internet-of-Things (IoT) gateway. The 3D camera can be incorporated into the shaving razor. The razor has hardware/software capabilities to function as a stand-alone Internet-of-Things (IoT) device. The 3D camera can assist the user to determine whether a particular skin surface area has been adequately shaved, and/or (ii) assist the user regarding the type of shaving cartridge and/or razor suited for the particular user's physical characteristics (e.g., skin and/or hair).

Abstract: A shaving blade assembly and a method of using a shaving blade assembly may include a blade, a first resilient element, and a first movable member. The first resilient element may support the blade and be arranged to urge the blade in a first direction substantially orthogonal to a cutting edge of the blade. The first movable member may selectively engage the first resilient element, in the first direction in at least one position, to impede deformation of the first resilient element.

Abstract: A shaving system including a shaver having a handle, a razor cartridge, and one or more sensors, wherein the one or more sensors may be configured to detect a characteristic of at least one of the shaver or a body part of a user and to generate a sensor signal representative of the characteristic. A processor may be operably coupled to the one or more sensors and may have at least one algorithm stored thereon for analyzing the sensor signal to determine a status of the shaving session. An indicator may be operably coupled to the processor, and the indicator may be configured to provide feedback to the user regarding the status of the shaving session.
