Abstract: A shaving system including a shaver having a handle, a razor cartridge, and one or more sensors, wherein the one or more sensors may be configured to detect a characteristic of at least one of the shaver or a body part of a user and to generate a sensor signal representative of the characteristic. A processor may be operably coupled to the one or more sensors and may have at least one algorithm stored thereon for analyzing the sensor signal to determine a status of the shaving session. An indicator may be operably coupled to the processor, and the indicator may be configured to provide feedback to the user regarding the status of the shaving session.
