Typically, the compositions include a mixture of individual and separate DNA polynucleotides that encode different HIV polypeptides or fragments thereof. The mixture of polynucleotides is designed to elicit a broad immunogenic response which may be subsequently boosted by administering a second composition such as a recombinant virus vector composition. The compositions, kits, and methods may be utilized for treating or preventing HIV infection or disease.

    摘要： This invention relates to a storage stable buoyant waxy grain wherein the waxy grain is waxy triticale and waxy wheat. The starch in the waxy grain is gelatinized throughout and the cooked waxy grains of this invention can be stored for prolonged times in air tight or conventional cereal containers having a liner without acquiring rancid odors or tastes even in the absence of preservatives that inhibit the development of rancidity. Preferably, the waxy wholegrain is a waxy wheat having a protein content of no more than 14% by dry weight. The processes for preparing the waxy wholegrain food products of this invention are also described.

    摘要： The present invention is a dental evacuation tool for being placed in fluid communication with a dental vacuum. The tool comprises a suction head and an elongated tubular handle. The suction head includes a mirror surface, first and second upward-facing intake orifices adjacent the mirror surface, and an exit fluid pathway that is in fluid communication with the first and second upward-facing intake orifices. The elongated tubular handle includes a first end adapted to be in fluid communication with the vacuum and a second end in fluid communication with the exit fluid pathway. The first and second upward-facing intake orifices are positioned generally opposite each other about the mirror surface, are generally centered about a line that is generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the handle, and open in generally the same direction faced by the mirror.

    摘要： A seed hopper for a seeding machine is provided with a plastic bin having a substantially horizontal open top that is enclosed by a plastic lid. The bin has two sidewalls having a track extending the length of the bin. The lid is provided with two inwardly extending pins that engage the track. The lid has forward closed position and a rear fully opened position. In moving the lid from a forward closed position to a rear fully opened position the pins slide along the track. At the rear fully opened position the lid can be pivoted on the pins so that it assumes a opened vertical holding position. The lid and bin are provided with cooperating latching structures for latching the lid in its forward closed position.

    摘要： An anesthetic breast pad includes a polyester panel having a front surface, a rear surface, a continuous peripheral edge and a central aperture for accommodating a wearer's breast nipple. A sectoral notch extending from the peripheral edge to the central aperture allows the aperture and the panel to expand, contract and contort to comfortably adapt to the wearer. On the rear surface of the panel, along the entire peripheral edge, is an adhesive strip for tenuously securing the pad to the wearer. Within the boundary formed by the continuous adhesive strip is a thin sheet pretreated with a topical anesthetic. Accordingly, prior to surgery, a patient adhesively secures the pad to the breast to conveniently apply the anesthetic to the underlying area.
