摘要: Systems and methods for providing online content include determining the likelihood of an online event occurring regarding the content. A likelihood value may be generated by analyzing history data indicative of one or more online events to identify content presentations and content interactions. Content presentations and content interactions may be grouped by topical category, in some implementations.

摘要: A method is provided that accesses a priority and a multimedia stream to be transmitted. The priority then is embedded within the multimedia stream. The multimedia stream thereafter is transmitted. Another method is provided that receives the multimedia stream that includes the priority. Here, another priority is accessed and both priorities are compared. The control of multimedia stream transmissions to other communication devices is based on this comparison.

摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for evaluating data quality. An exemplary embodiment includes storing a plurality of records, the records sharing a common attribute, and reading first values for the common attribute corresponding to a first time period and second values for the common attribute corresponding to a second time period. A business rule for evaluating the common attribute is accessed, and first and second consistency data are generated. The first consistency data may reflect the extent to which the first values of the common attribute are consistent with the business rule at the first time. The second consistency data may reflect the extent to which the second values of the common attribute are consistent with the business rule at the second time. The first consistency data and the second consistency data are processed to generate a quality change rate of the common attribute from the first time period to the second time period, based on the difference between the first consistency data and the second consistency data.

摘要: Disclosed are various bioactive grafts and/or biocompatible materials and methods of making the same. In one embodiment, bone material is harvested from a donor. The harvested bone material is exposed to a lysing agent, the lysing agent configured to release growth factors and bioactive materials from cellular material of the harvested bone material. The harvested bone material is then rinsed with a rinsing agent. The pH of the harvested bone material is substantially neutralized. In another embodiment, an orthopaedic implant includes an antibacterial polysaccharide. The implant may also include an osteostimulative agent.

摘要: A pneumatic-internal combustion (IC) engine based power management system with improved energy efficiency for automobile application. More particularly, the pneumatic IC engine based power management system comprises a compressor, a pressure vessel, a pneumatic motor and related control mechanisms to provide energy on demand and reduce environmental pollution. The compressor is driven by the IC engine during low power demand by the vehicle. The lightweight pressure vessel wrapped with high strength metal wire and/or fibers provide impact resistance adequate to store compressed air at rated pressure. For low/no load condition of engine or compressor, the IC engine will shut off rather than idling to save fuel. The stored compressed air drives the air motor that powers the vehicle's initial motion and then starts the IC engine to provide continuous power. A controller monitors the power demand and actuates different system components accordingly through sensors. The system also supports accessories such as air conditioning, heater etc. and a wheel-rim system for inflation maintenance and easy change over of tyres.

摘要: A brachytherapy device including an elongate member comprising a proximal portion and a distal portion. The device also includes a movable surface portion surrounding at least the distal portion of the elongate member and a plurality of source lumen tubes defining respective source lumens, the source lumen tubes being located around the elongate member, distal ends of the source lumen tubes coupled to the distal portion of the elongate member, the source lumen tubes extending a sufficient distance in a proximal direction such that the source lumen tubes extend outside a body when distal portions of the source lumen tubes are positioned in a body cavity for brachytherapy. The device also has structure coupled to the distal ends of the source lumen tubes for positioning the distal portions of the source lumen tubes at different distances from the elongate member for brachytherapy by exerting a force in a proximal direction on the distal ends of the source lumen tubes, the structure including an actuator for actuating the structure, at least a portion of the actuator being located outside the body when the distal portions of the source lumen tubes are positioned in a body cavity for brachytherapy. The device also includes a ring, tube or manifold securing a portion of the source lumen tubes proximal to the distal portion around the elongate member and a source of radiation suitable for insertion into the source lumens.
