摘要: A method for retracting/stabilizing excessive and/or redundant tissue or for compressing redundant tissue including adhering a tension member made of a sheet of material having a surface coated with an adhesive which will adhere to the dermis of a patient to a patient. The step of adhering the tension member to the patient includes: adhering a first portion of the tension member to redundant and/or excessive tissue of the patient and adhering a second portion of the tension member to an anchor point on the patient which is spaced from the redundant and/or excessive tissue such that the tension member is adhered to the patient substantially over the entire surface area of the tension member. When the tension member is applied to the patient, the excessive or redundant tissue pulls against the second portion of the tension member thereby placing the tension member in tension.

摘要: A gearbox (BV) comprises a secondary shaft (AS) provided with a synchromesh (SB) comprising a flange (FL) comprising a sub-hub (SM) fixedly secured to the secondary shaft (AS) and provided with external splines (CE3), a hub (MO) comprising internal splines (CI1) collaborating with the external splines (CE3) of the sub-hub (SM) to allow translational movement with respect to the latter (SM), and a sleeve (MA) that can undergo a translational movement with respect to the hub (MO) so that the internal splines (CI2) thereof are closely coupled to dogs (CR) of an idling pinion (PF1). This translational movement of the hub (MO) with respect to the sub-hub (SM) guarantees close coupling of the internal splines (CI2) of the sleeve (MA) with the dogs (CR) with a minimal margin for translation, irrespective of dimensional variations in the manufacture of the sleeve (MA) and idling pinion (PF1).

摘要: A vehicle service system having a means for acquiring images of a three-dimensional region of a vehicle wheel assembly tire tread surface. The vehicle service system is configured to process the acquired images to produce a collection of data points corresponding to the spatial position of surface points in the region from which tire tread wear characteristics are identified. The acquired images are further utilized to provide both a graphical and a numerical display to an operator, with the numerical display linked to specifically annotated or indexed points or windows within the graphical display, thereby enabling an operator to quickly identify specific focus points or regions on the tire surface which have been measured at the numerically identified tread depths.

摘要: A vehicle wheel service system including a plurality of sensors positioned in proximity to a heavy-duty multi-axle vehicle, to measure angles associated with three or more axles of the vehicle without repositioning the mounting of the sensors after initiating a measurement procedure. Additional sensors, associated with a vehicle reference, such as the vehicle frame axis, are disposed to provide vehicle reference measurement data which is communicated to a processing system. The processing system is configured with software instructions to evaluate the measurement data and to determine various vehicle wheel alignment angle measurements and/or necessary vehicle adjustments for each axle relative to the vehicle reference or to a fixed axle having a determined relationship to the vehicle reference.

More particularly, the invention relates to a WSF system with actives embedded/entrapped therein such as to provide precise and desired release of actives there from and its method of manufacturing for diverse applications, in which a variety of substances such as detergents, enzymes, softeners, perfumes, pesticides, fungicides, active ingredients, dyes, pigments, hazardous chemicals, active agents for cleaning laundry, dishes, floorings, walls, furniture, fluffs, pulp, etc., and the like can be so embedded/entrapped for such purpose. The invention further discloses novel online and offline process for the manufacture of such multi-layered WSF with or without liners and of desired shapes to selectively entrap interacting/non-interacting materials and their combinations. The process also provides options for the use of a wide range of raw materials, liners such as paper, film, foil, fabric, etc.

摘要: The invention relates to a cooling system for a fuel cell (2), comprising a main heat-transfer-fluid circuit including a main circulation pump (6) and a heat exchanger (8) with the exterior, which feed an upstream pipe (12) supplying the fluid to the cells (4) of the fuel cell, said fluid leaving the cells via a downstream pipe (14) in order to return to the main pump. The system is characterised in that a secondary circuit, comprising a secondary circulation device (30) that circulates the fluid in an alternate manner, is connected in parallel with the main circuit to the upstream (12) and downstream (14) pipes and in that one or more controlled valves (10, 16) allow the main circuit and the secondary circuit to operate independently.

摘要: An I-beam anchor for removably securing a fall protection member to an I-beam is disclosed. The I-beam anchor comprises a cross-beam, an anchor ring, and first and second brackets. The first bracket is positioned between a first end and center portion of the cross-beam and the second bracket positioned between a second end and center portion of the cross-beam. Each of the brackets comprises an inwardly directed flange spaced above the body of the brackets. At least the first bracket is a movable bracket and is movable along the cross-beam relative to the second bracket. The moveable bracket comprises a protected “quick release” mechanism that allows for the rapid engagement and disengagement of the anchor to the I-beam, in which the quick release mechanism is configured to minimize the chance of accidental or unintentional release.
