摘要: Aspects of the present invention relate to a method for controlling a renewable power plant connected to a power network to reduce deviation of a measured frequency of the power network from a target frequency. The method comprises determining a forecasted power gradient over a forecast interval defined between a first time point and a second time point, and, at a third time point during the forecast interval, controlling the power plant to output active power according to a minimum active power level if the measured frequency at the third time point is below the target frequency, controlling the power plant to output active power according to a maximum active power level if the measured frequency at the third time point is above the target frequency. The maximum and minimum active power levels are based on the forecasted power gradient.

The inspection system is configured to analyze substrates or wafers for chips, cracks, and other defects. The system includes conveyor apparatuses, and the conveyor apparatuses include one or more conveyor elements. The conveyor elements are configured to transport rectangular wafers having a width between about 175 mm to about 250 mm. The conveyor elements include a first conveyor belt and a second conveyor belt to transport the substrates. The spacing of the belts reduces vibrations of the substrate edge.

摘要: The present disclosure generally relates to a dual free layer (DFL) two dimensional magnetic recording (TDMR) read head, and a method of forming thereof. The read head comprises a lower sensor, middle shields disposed on the lower sensor, and an upper sensor disposed on the middle shields. After the lower reader is formed, a dielectric layer is deposited around an outer perimeter of the lower shield. Portions of the dielectric layer are ion milled such that the remaining portions form a substantially flat layer. Another embodiment includes a deposition of a TaOx layer on the dielectric layer, where x is a numeral. Portions of the dielectric layer and the TaOx layer are then ion milled such that the remaining portions of the TaOx layer and the dielectric layer collectively form a substantially planar layer. The middle shields are formed over the lower reader and are substantially planar.

摘要: Operating a renewable energy generator forming part of a renewable energy power plant. During a fault experienced by a power network: determining an active current set point to enable a reactive current supply boost at the point of connection between the plant and the network, the active current set point being based on a voltage level associated with the generator and on operational characteristics of the generator, plant, power network and/or connecting network; calculating a time period for the reactive current boost, the time period being the maximum time that the active current set point can be maintained for; and controlling the generator during the calculated time period to alter active current output to the determined active current set point, thereby providing the reactive current supply boost at the point of connection.

In an embodiment, a method for transmitting data between a first communication device associated with an analyte sensor and a second communication device configured to provide user access to sensor-related information comprises activating a transceiver of a first communication device associated with an analyte sensor at a first time. The method also includes establishing a two-way communication channel with the second communication device. The activating comprises waking the transceiver from a low power sleep mode using a forced wakeup from the second communication device.

Further, the segments can include a next segment register indicating the next segment the check engine should evaluate for errors.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling a wind turbine system, more particular for a controlled sliding strategy to lower loads on the yaw system by controlling mechanical brakes and motor brakes in the yaw drive actuators. When the yaw system being in the non-yawing operational state, and the mechanical brake(s) being in an engaged state, and the yaw controller determines or receives a signal indicative of a yaw moment, and if the signal indicative of a yaw moment is above a signal threshold, then the yaw controller sends a braking signal to the yaw drive actuators to enter the motors into the brake state to apply a braking torque.
