    Abstract: A method for use in manufacturing a material having a value for a first measurable material property in a pre-determined range of values is disclosed, the method comprising obtaining a first set of input parameters; predicting or triggering predicting a value for the first measurable material property of a material based on the obtained first set of input parameters using a predictive model trained based on a stored plurality of data sets; and determining or triggering determining, at least based on the predicted value for the first measurable material property, a second set of input parameters for manufacturing a material. A corresponding method for use in manufacturing a material having a value for a first measurable material property in a pre-determined range of values comprising training the predictive model is disclosed. Additionally, a corresponding system, corresponding apparatuses and corresponding computer programs are disclosed.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition containing at least one polymer, at least one liquid resin comprising an oligoester composition as described herein and at least one further plasticizer, wherein the at least one further plasticizer comprises an isobutene/butene copolymer. The invention also relates to the use of the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to the invention, to a method for preparing the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, and to a method for bonding at least two substrates.     Abstract: A cavity sealing bulkhead part is provided comprising a first structural component, a second structural component and a hinge for producing a movable connection between the first structural component and the second structural component; the hinge comprising a first hinge component assigned to the first structural component and a second hinge component assigned to the second structural component, the first hinge component and the second hinge component being movable relative to one another about a shaft, at least one of the two hinge components comprising an expansion material that is convertible from an initial state into an expanded state by activation, and in the expanded state acting as a sealant between the first and second hinge components; and the bulkhead part being produced in a two-component injection molding process using a carrier material and the expansion material; also provided are methods for producing the bulkhead part.

    Abstract: Provided is an apparatus for applying a liquid material to a plurality of parts, wherein the apparatus comprises at least a first gun through which the material can be applied to the parts; a reservoir for holding the material, the reservoir being fluidically connected to the first gun; a pressure system for providing a gas pressure acting on the material located in the reservoir, the pressure system having a pressure regulator, by which the gas pressure acting on the material can be adjusted, and a pressure sensor for detecting the gas pressure acting on the material; a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the material; and a control unit in which a material-specific function is stored which specifies a setpoint value for the gas pressure which depends on the detected temperature of the material. The invention also provides a method to determine the material-specific function.
