    摘要: Lighting systems and connectable lighting devices enable size adjustment to an area illuminated by the lighting system. The connectable lighting system may include a plurality of lighting devices. A lighting device of the plurality of lighting devices may include a body defining a lighting side, a first sidewall positioned on a first side of the lighting side, and a second sidewall positioned on an opposite second side of the lighting side; at least one light emitting component configured to emit light through at least a portion of the lighting side; a first set of metal contacts at least partially embedded within the first sidewall of the body; and a second set of metal contacts at least partially embedded within the second sidewall of the body; and wherein at least one of: the first set of metal contacts are magnets or the second set of metal contacts are magnets.

    摘要: An alkaline electrochemical cell has a central cathode having a corresponding cathode current collector electrically connected with a positive terminal of the electrochemical cell. The cathode current collector has a tubular shape, such as a cylindrical shape or rectangular shape, extending parallel with the length of the central cathode. The cathode current collector is embedded within the central cathode, such as at a medial point of a radius of the central cathode, thereby minimizing the distance between the cathode current collector and any portion of the central cathode, thereby increasing the mechanical strength of the cathode and facilitating charge transfer to the cathode current collector.
