摘要： A portable light may comprise: a light body; a light source, an electrical switch for selectively energizing the light source, the light body having an opening through which the electrical switch can be actuated. A pivot pin pivotably mounts an actuator having an actuation feature that extends towards the opening for actuating the electrical switch when pivoted towards the light body. The light body has a receptacle in which the pivot pin is removably disposed. A retainer of a resilient material resiliently retains the pivot pin in the receptacle and resiliently deforms for removal of the pivot pin therefrom; whereby the actuator is removable and replaceable on the light body by removing the pivot pin. The light body may have a seal of resilient material in the opening of the light body. A user formable actuator of a curable material may be provided.

摘要： Portable devices, systems and methods with automated heat control assembly are provided. The portable devices and systems comprise a light source, a current source, a heat control circuit, a temperature sensor and a processor. The current source is electrically coupled to the light source. The heat control circuit adapted to allow changing the current supplied to the light source. The temperature sensor adapted to measure a temperature adjacent the light source and to output an associated temperature sensor data to the processor. The processor configured to automatically adjust the current supply in the heat control circuit based on the temperature sensor data relative to a predetermined temperature threshold. The method comprises measuring a temperature adjacent a light source using a temperature sensor and automatically adjusting, using a processor, the current suppled to the light source based on the temperature sensor data relative to a predetermined temperature threshold.

摘要： In one aspect, a light module is disclosed, which includes a housing providing a hollow chamber extending from a proximal end to a distal end, and a lens positioned in the hollow chamber, where the lens has a lens body comprising an input surface for receiving light from a light source and an output surface through which light exits the lens body, said lens further comprising a collar at least partially encircling said lens body. The light module further includes at least one shoulder on which the lens collar can be seated for positioning the lens within the housing. A light source, e.g., an LED, is coupled to the hollow chamber, e.g., at its proximal end, for providing light to the lens. In some embodiments, an optical window is disposed in the hollow chamber and is optically coupled to the output surface of the lens such that the light exiting the lens passes through the optical window before exiting the light module. In some embodiments, the shoulder can be formed as part of the housing. In other embodiments, the shoulder can be provided by a sleeve disposed in the module's housing.
