The electronic monitoring device may be equipped with GPS and/or RF communication technology that may be interrupted intentionally or unintentionally. The device compares sampled incident energy with a reference level to identify an occurrence of blocking the transmitter signal. The device may also base determination of a signal blocking occurrence on input from a status detection module. Status information is also leveraged to intelligently calibrate the device to more robustly determine a tampering event.

The device further includes an active infrared position sensor comprising of a light source for emitting infrared light and an infrared sensor for detecting reflected infrared light. The active infrared position sensor is configured to sense the position of the device based on detecting the reflected infrared light. The device further includes an accelerometer configured to measure acceleration forces and a processor. The processor is configured to determine that the position of the device changed based on positional data from the active infrared position sensor or acceleration data from the accelerometer.

    摘要: A cascadable camera tampering detection transceiver module has a processing unit and a storing unit, an information controlling module and an analyzing module. The storing unit stores a transceiving module. The detection module analyzes input video, detects camera tampering events, synthesizes the input video with the image of camera tampering result, and outputs the synthesized video. When the input video is an output from the detection module, the detection module separates the camera tampering result from the input video, and the result can be used to simplify or enhance the subsequent video analysis. Performing the existing analysis repeatedly may be avoided, and the user may re-define the detection conditions in this manner. When the camera tampering result is transmitted in the video channel, the detection module transmits the camera tampering result, and hence the detection module may be used in combination with surveillance devices having image output or input interfaces.

    摘要: A tamper switch body is disposed in a housing of a PIR sensor. A tamper opening is formed at a position opposite a switch actuating member of the tamper switch body in a base plate of the PIR sensor. An elastic switch member is mounted in the tamper opening. The elastic switch member includes a pressure-receiving projection portion abutting a mounting plate, and depresses the switch actuating member through elastic deformation of the pressure-receiving projection portion by receiving a pushing force from the mounting plate in a state in which the PIR sensor is fixed to a wall surface. The elastic switch member seals the inside of the housing by closing the tamper opening, thus preventing a flood into the housing of the PIR sensor.

    摘要: Normal hard-wired domestic burglar alarms have cables with six conductors extending between the alarm control panel and each event sensor (such as a PIR). Two of the conductors might provide current to a motion detector, two of the conductors might provide a circuit for a tamper switch, and two of the conductors might provide an indication of the motion detected by the motion detector. Wiring costs are reduced in the present invention by providing only two conductors which work to provide all of the functions of a six-conductor cable. To attach the two-conductor cable to a six-point terminal on the control panel, a special signal accessor and separator circuit is provided with six contacts to attach to the control panel terminals and two terminals for connecting to the conductor cable.
