An engine starter for driving a starter motor by closing a starter switch 5 connected in series between a power source 3 and the starter motor 2 for receiving power supply from the power source to start an engine includes: a resistor 7 connected in series to the starter switch between the power source and the starter motor, for limiting a current flowing through the starter motor; and a short-circuiting switch 6 connected in parallel to the resistor, for short-circuiting both ends of the resistor by energization of a driving coil after start of an operation of closing the starter switch, and the resistor is made of a plate-like stainless steel.

    摘要: A mounting system for powertrain components requiring axial installation and radial removal thereof is provided. A mounting flange is integrally cast with a powertrain component and extends outwardly therefrom. An opening extends through the mounting flange defining a mounting flange axis and axially receives a portion of a powertrain component for support therein, and by the mounting flange. A separation line extends diametrically across the mounting flange to define a separated portion and a remaining portion of the mounting flange. Fasteners are configured to removeably attach the separated portion to the remaining portion to thereby facilitate removal of the powertrain component from the powertrain assembly in a radial direction.

    摘要: A starter which may employed in starting an engine is provided. The starter includes an electromagnetic actuator and a pinion carrier. The pinion carrier includes a pinion and a holder. The holder retains a shift lever and transmits movement of the shift lever, as achieved by a magnetic attraction produced by the electromagnetic actuator, to the pinion, thereby shifting the pinion into engagement with a ring gear joined to, for example, an engine. The holder is made of material smaller in specific gravity than the pinion. Specifically, the holder is lower in mass or weight than the pinion, thereby permitting the magnetic attraction required to shift the pinion carrier through the shift lever to be decreased. This permits the electromagnetic actuator to be decreased in size.

    摘要: A starting module assembly of a remote control car includes an engine mount and a starter. A seat cover and a fixed base are installed outside the engine mount. A transmission gear cylinder is installed between assembling holes of the seat cover and the fixed base. An actuation gear is engaged between two transmission gear cylinders and sheathed into a spindle bearing of the engine mount for switching the direction of directly installing the engine mount. The starter has a penetrating ventilation hole at the front end of the upper half portion for dissipating heat produced by the electric motor. An external cover for fixing the rechargeable battery is pivotally coupled for preventing the external cover from being separated or fallen off when the cover is lifted. Further, a space is reserved at the front end of the upper half portion for installing an electric motor of different sizes.
