    Abstract: Methods and systems for transferring monitoring event information during a mobility procedure are provided. According to one aspect, a method for transferring monitoring event information during a mobility procedure comprises, at a first network node: receiving and storing subscription information indicating that a second network node has subscribed to get notification when there is a data delivery failure involving a User Equipment (UE), followed by the UE becoming reachable; detecting a data delivery failure involving the UE, and setting a flag to indicate that a data delivery failure involving the UE has occurred; receiving, from a third network node, a mobility related request; sending, to the third network node, a response to the mobility related request, comprising an indication that the third network node should notify the second network node when the UE becomes reachable and/or when then UE enters the IDLE state.

    Abstract: A method for supporting envelope reporting in a radio communication network having a control plane, CP, function separated from a user plane, UP, function, is presented. The method is performed in a CP node of the radio communication network and comprises setting (S100) a time quota mechanism, TQM, in a usage reporting rule, URR, to which its corresponding service data flows, SDFs, are applicable for envelope for envelope reporting, setting (S100) at least one reporting trigger in the URR, to instruct the UP function to generate a usage report upon closure of an envelope, setting (S100) a measurement method in the URR, to instruct the UP function to collect usage of volume, time and/or event, sending (S110) the set URR to the UP function, receiving (S120) one or more usage reports from the UP function, in response to the sent URR, wherein the received usage report(s) comprises at least a usage report trigger set to envelope closure, determining (S130) a starting time and/or an ending time for each envelope, based on the received usage report(s), and storing (S140) each envelope, with the determined starting time and/or ending time, for online or offline charging. A CP node, a UP node, a computer program and a computer program product are also presented.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for updating subscriber data are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a serving node in a communication network for updating subscriber data includes receiving a modification of subscriber data for one or more subscribers and determining if updates to the subscriber data for the one or more subscribers are needed now. In response to determining that updates are needed now, the method includes communicating the modification for subscribers to one or more additional nodes and/or initiating other types of signaling towards other network nodes as a result. In response to determining that updates are not needed now, the method includes postponing the communication of the modification of the subscriber data for the one or more subscribers. In this way, signaling floods towards external network elements may be avoided when a modification is performed to subscription data that affects multiple subscribers (potentially even millions).

    Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a gateway. The gateway detects that a procedure for activating or deactivating a bearer has been initiated. The gateway receives a first modify bearer or modify access bearers request message for the same PDN connection and UE as the bearer activation or deactivation procedure is intended for. The gateway detects a bearer mismatch between a first set of bearers and a second set of bearers known by the gateway and associated with said same PDN connection and UE. The gateway accepts, during a time interval, the received modify bearer or modify access bearers request message even though the bearer mismatch has been detected.
