    Abstract: A flexible display device that can suppress spread of cracks of an inorganic layer is provided. A flexible display device includes a flexible substrate including a display area and a periphery surrounding the display area, an inorganic layer formed on the flexible substrate, a display unit formed on the display area, and a thin film encapsulation layer covering the display unit. The inorganic layer includes an opening disposed on a periphery between edges of the flexible substrate and the thin film encapsulation layer.

    Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display device including: a substrate configured to include a display area and a peripheral area positioned at an outer circumference of the display area; a display member configured to be positioned on the substrate; an anti-reflective layer configured to be positioned on the display member; and a passivation layer configured to be positioned in a peripheral area of the substrate and to be adjacent to one end portion of the anti-reflective layer, wherein the anti-reflective layer may include a plurality of first lateral surfaces, and an area of one of the plurality of first lateral surfaces contacting the passivation layer may be larger than that of the anti-reflective layer cut in a direction parallel to one end portion of the anti-reflective layer.

    Abstract: A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes a substrate, a display, and a protective film. The substrate includes a bending area between a first area and a second area and is bent about a bending axis. The display is over an upper surface of the substrate in the first area. The protective film is over a lower surface of the substrate. The protective film includes a first protective film base over the lower surface of the substrate and corresponding to at least a part of the first area, and a first adhesive layer between the substrate and the first protective film base. The first protective film base includes a first thick portion having a first thickness and a first thin portion having a second thickness less than the first thickness and is closer to the bending area than the first thick portion.
