Abstract:
A display apparatus including: a substrate; a display unit disposed on the substrate; a sealing substrate facing the display unit; a sealing unit spaced apart from the display unit and disposed between the substrate and the sealing substrate and connecting the substrate to the sealing substrate; and a semi-penetration layer disposed on the substrate and not protruding from a width of the sealing unit, and absorbing a predetermined amount of light incident on the sealing substrate, thereby improving characteristics of the sealing unit.
Abstract:
A laser beam irradiation apparatus irradiates a laser beam onto a sealing unit disposed between a first substrate and a second substrate so as to seal the first substrate and the second substrate. A center portion of the laser beam comprises a first beam profile having a beam intensity which increases toward a beam center portion, and a center of each of a plurality of peripheral portions of the laser beam is included in an area onto which the first beam profile is irradiated. The plurality of peripheral portions are symmetrically distributed around the first beam profile, and comprise a plurality of second beam profiles having the same beam intensities. The first beam profile and the plurality of second beam profiles are symmetrically distributed around a center point of the first beam profile and move in synchronization with one another.

A food/beverage container comprising a main body having a main receiving cavity containing contents and a spouting portion for discharging the contents; and a sub-receiving cavity formed in the main receiving cavity to receive other foods. The main receiving cavity and the sub-receiving cavity are separated from each other.
Abstract:
Example embodiments are directed to an electronic device and a method for manufacturing the same. The electronic device includes a polymer thin film and an electrode. The polymer thin film includes nanoparticles. The electrode is formed by attaching a graphene thin film of a sheet shape formed through graphene deposition using a vapor carbon supply source to the polymer thin film. In the method, a graphene thin film of a sheet shape is formed through graphene deposition using a vapor carbon supply source. A polymer solution with distributed nanoparticles is prepared. The polymer solution with distributed nanoparticles is spin-coated on a substrate. A polymer thin film comprising the nanoparticles is formed by drying the spin-coated polymer solution. An electrode is formed by attaching the graphene thin film onto the polymer thin film.
Abstract:
A thin film deposition apparatus used to produce large substrates on a mass scale and improve manufacturing yield. The thin film deposition apparatus includes a deposition source; a first nozzle disposed at a side of the deposition source and including a plurality of first slits arranged in a first direction; a second nozzle disposed opposite to the first nozzle and including a plurality of second slits arranged in the first direction; and a barrier wall assembly including a plurality of barrier walls arranged in the first direction so as to partition a space between the first nozzle and the second nozzle.
Abstract:
Provided is a pretensioner for a seat belt retractor. The pretensioner for a seat belt retractor of a vehicle includes a torsion bar on which a webbing is wound; a gear member connected to the torsion bar; a base member with which the gear member is meshed and through which the torsion bar passes; a cylinder having a movement guide hole formed therein to supply a gas upon rapid deceleration of the vehicle; a piston having a rack formed at a side surface thereof in a longitudinal direction to be meshed with the gear member and moved along the movement guide hole upon supply of a gas, and; a cylindrical sealing operation part integrally formed with a bottom of the piston and projecting therefrom; and a sealing part coupled to an outer periphery of the sealing operation part to seal between the piston and an inner wall of the cylinder, wherein the base member has a hooking means for hooking the piston to a rack. Since the rack of the piston is hooked by the hooking means and assembled thereto, it is possible to form an appropriate gap (or a marginal space) between the sealing part and the straight movement guide hole.
Abstract:
Provided is a seat belt retractor capable of having its assembly readily performed to increase assembly efficiency, simplifying shapes of components to readily manufacture the retractor and reduce manufacturing cost, and preventing a webbing from being hooked when the webbing is rewound. The seat belt retractor includes a housing constituting a main body of the seat belt retractor, a guide drum rotatably installed in the housing, a connector inserted into one side of the guide drum, a base member surrounding the connector, a gear member inserted into the base member, a cylinder for operating the gear member, a torsion bar inserted into the guide drum, a locking member fixedly inserted between the torsion bar and the guide drum, a locking clutch installed at one surface of the locking member, a mechanism cover installed at one surface of the locking clutch, and a friction spring installed in the mechanism cover to stop operation of a lock arm fixed to the locking clutch. Therefore, an operator can assemble the base member and the gear member while viewing them. In addition, the clutch rollers rotate while moving outwardly along the slant surfaces of the slant gear to rotate the connector and rewind the webbing. Thus, shock applied to a passenger is lessened.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a norbornene based addition polymer, and more particularly to an addition polymer of norbornene based monomers containing an ester group. The present invention provides a norbornene-ester based addition polymer having a molecular weight (Mn) larger than 20,000 and comprising a norbornene-ester based monomer comprising more than 50 mol % of exo norbornene-ester monomer as a repeating unit, a method for preparing the same, and an optically anisotropic film comprising the same. The norbornene-ester based addition polymer of the present invention is transparent, has a low dielectric constant, has good thermal stability and strength, leaves no unwanted materials when attached to metals or other polymers, and has good adhesivity, so that it can be used for optical films, retardation films, plastic substrate materials, transparent polymers such as POF or PCB, insulating materials, or insulating electronic devices such as PCB or insulating materials.
Abstract:
