摘要: Methods for forming a unitized crucible assembly for holding a melt of silicon for forming a silicon ingot are disclosed. In some embodiments, the methods involve a porous crucible mold having a channel network with a bottom channel, an outer sidewall channel that extends from the bottom channel, and a central weir channel that extends from the bottom channel. A slip slurry may be added to the channel network and the liquid carrier of the slip slurry may be drawn into the mold. The resulting green body may be sintered to form the crucible assembly.

摘要: The present invention relates to a composite material including a porous titania thin film and a preparation method therefor. A composite material according to the present invention allows for a simple thin film formation process because of the use of cellulose crystals, makes it easy to control the structure of the titanium dioxide thin film provided therefor, has a large specific area, and is superior in terms of scratch resistance and photoactivity, thus finding useful applications in the various fields utilizing titanium dioxide as a photocatalyst.

摘要: A honeycomb filter includes a pillar-shaped honeycomb structure body having a porous partition wall disposed to surround a plurality of cells and a plugging portion provided at an open end on a first end face side or a second end face side of each of the cells, wherein the partition wall is composed of a material containing cordierite as a main component thereof, a number per unit area of pores which exist at a surface of the partition wall and which have equivalent circle diameters exceeding 3.0 μm is 1400 per mm2 or more, and, in a pore diameter distribution which indicates a cumulative pore volume of the partition wall, with a log pore diameter on a horizontal axis and a log differential pore volume (cm3/g) on a vertical axis, a half-value width of a first peak that includes a maximum value of the log differential pore volume is 0.30 or less.

摘要: Disclosed is a non-sintering method for preparing an artificial cobblestone from dredged soil, comprising the steps of: (1) preparing raw materials; (2) proportioning four types of materials; (3) preparing high-strength non-sintering ceramsite; (4) preparing a cobblestone core; (5) preparing a primary product of the cobblestone; (6) polishing; (7) curing; and (8) forming a finished product. In the method, the dredged soil is used as the raw material to prepare the artificial cobblestone with a core-shell structure, so that an application range of dredged soil recycling utilization can be widened, and a method for preparing artificial cobblestones is provided. By employing the non-sintering method for preparation, the energy consumption for production is low, and a decorative effect of the cobblestone can be achieved.

摘要: An outer periphery coating material being coated onto an outer peripheral surface of a ceramic honeycomb structure to form an outer periphery coated layer. The outer periphery coating material comprises: a particle mixture containing cordierite particles and amorphous silica particles in a mass ratio of from 40:60 to 80:20; and from 10 to 30% by mass of crystalline inorganic fibers in an outer percentage relative to the particle mixture. An average particle diameter of the cordierite particles is different from an average particle diameter of the amorphous silica particles.
