Abstract:
An overload protection switch with reverse restart switching structure, particularly to one that has a molded-case circuit breaker which adding a lampshade parallel stagnation position for overload indication, and when resetting, needs to press back to the RESET for reconfirmation; due to the stagnation position and reverse restart structure, it can avoid repeating the reset action, preventing the reduction of the life of the overload protection switch and repeated exposure or the misjudgment and then resetting of electrical products that have been overloaded and tripped and then overload again then results in causing dangerous; also, the lampshade can be completely tripped even when the lampshade is suppressed, and prevent the danger of repeated tripping during overload.
Abstract:
A circuit interrupter having a status indicator providing a current status of the circuit interrupter, the status indicator presenting one of: an On state, an Off state or a Fault state. The status indication is provided as a visual status and is color coded to one of the three circuit interrupter states. The circuit interrupter further including, in one configuration, a rocker actuator that rotates about an axis and the status indication mechanism is coupled to the rocker actuator.
Abstract:
A consumer unit is provided comprising at least one current protection device. The unit is distinguished in that it further comprises at least one light associated with the unit, the at least one light being operatively connected to the at least one protection device whereby the at least one light is energized so as to illuminate the unit when the at least one protection device operates.
Abstract:
A circuit breaker includes a housing, a pair of separable contacts within the housing, and an operating mechanism having an operating handle for opening and closing the separable contacts. A micro-switch cooperates with the operating handle and provides a first output when the separable contacts are open and a second output when the separable contacts are closed. A first LED indicator protrudes through the housing and cooperates the first output of the micro-switch. The first LED indicator is illuminated when the separable contacts are open. A second LED indicator protrudes through the housing and cooperates with the second output of the micro-switch. The second LED indicator is illuminated when the separable contacts are closed.
Abstract:
A multi-pole circuit breaker assembly for interrupting AC power to a load upon the detection of an earth leakage fault or an overcurrent condition includes a pair of circuit breaker units mounted adjacent to an earth leakage module. The earth leakage module includes an electronic circuit that senses a current imbalance between the power line lead and the neutral line lead using a differential transformer. In response to a current imbalance greater than a predetermined value, the electronic circuit periodically energizes a switching circuit that provides power across a solenoid. The solenoid, when actuated, engages a common trip mechanism to open concurrently the contacts of the circuit breakers units. The common trip mechanism includes an elongated bar that extends through the casing of the earth leakage module and the circuit breaker units. The elongated bar engages a U-shaped trip member pivotally disposed in each circuit breaker. Each trip member has a depending member extending from a leg that trips its respective circuit breaker unit when pivoted upwardly by the solenoid.
Abstract:
An improved safety switch with overload protection circuit includes a housing having a lamp cover and three connecting plates disposed in a receptacle. One connecting plate is provided with a bi-metal plate having a platinum contact, and one is provided with a platinum contact corresponding to the bi-metal plate. When power is overload, the bi-metal plate will trip off so that an electrically insulating baffling plate may slip in between the platinum contacts to cut off power supply. The lamp cover is provided with a control hook which may control the bi-metal plate. The lamp cover further has a leg extending into an elongated notch of the baffling plate. By pressing the lamp cover, displacement of the bi-metal plate and the baffling plate may be controlled to achieve electrical connection or disconnection.
Abstract:
A circuit breaker arranged with overload sensing, switches and LED indicators. Provided is a green LED (42) which when lit indicates that the circuit is blown and so the electrical wires from the breaker are not powered--the wires are "dead"; a red LED is also provided to indicate, when lit, that the electrical wires are powered or "live", in addition there is an amber third LED (52) which, when lit, indicates that a short circuit overload is still connected to the breaker output terminals.
Abstract:
A circuit breaker which is thermally operable and resettable and a switch connected in series to the circuit breaker are housed in a case, and the switch is operable to turn ON and OFF by its rotational movement through actuation of a switching actuator. The circuit breaker in its breaking state is driven and reset by turning ON the switch through actuation of the switching actuator. At least one portion of the switching actuator is light-transparent and a light emitting element is disposed behind the light-transparent portion.
