    摘要: It is intended to inhibit variation in output-side rotation in a wide rotational speed range even when a lock-up rotational speed is set to be low. The present lock-up device includes: a piston configured to be pressed onto a front cover; an output-side unit disposed to be unitarily rotatable with a turbine; and a first torsion spring elastically coupling the piston and the output-side unit. The output-side unit includes: an output member fixed to the turbine; an inertia member disposed to be rotatable relatively to the output member; a second torsion spring elastically coupling the inertia member and the output member; and a hysteresis torque generating mechanism. The hysteresis torque generating mechanism is configured to generate variable hysteresis torque while being disposed between the inertia member and the output member.

    摘要: A friction assembly for a torque converter, including: a side plate for a damper in the torque converter; a plate; an output hub for connection to an input shaft for a transmission; and a diaphragm spring. The side plate and the plate are fixedly connected to a turbine shell for the torque converter. The diaphragm spring is directly engaged with the output hub so that the diaphragm spring rotates with the output hub and is axially displaceable with respect to the output hub. The diaphragm spring is directly engaged with the side plate and the plate so that the diaphragm spring is axially restrained by the side plate. The plate and is rotatable with respect to the side plate and the plate.

    摘要: A torsional vibration damper is provided which includes a primary mass, a secondary mass, and a damping unit. The damping unit includes a plurality of coil springs, a pair of end guides, and a friction member. The plurality of coil springs are situated in series and disposed one after the other within the divided portions of the ring-shaped chamber. The pair of end guides are slidably disposed within each divided portion of the ring-shaped chamber and support outer ends of the end coil springs among the plurality of elastic members. The friction member is slidably disposed between neighboring elastic members, and it is configured to be rubbed against the primary mass in response to compressions of the coil springs such that a friction force is generated in proportion to a relative rotation between the primary and secondary masses.

    摘要: A torsional vibration damper, for installation in the clutch disc of a motor vehicle friction clutch, the damping spring system of which torsional vibration damper comprises at least three spring stages which are sized for different torque ranges of the torque to be transmitted between an input component and an output component. The spring stages are graduated so that they are active in corresponding ranges of the relative angle of rotation between the input component and the output component. The torsional vibration damper comprises a pre-damper which is sized for operation at idle, a low-speed damper which is sized for travel at slow speeds, and a load damper which is sized for load operation. The spring stage of the low-speed damper has an initial torque which is lower than the final torque of the pre-damper, and the load damper also has an initial torque which is lower than the final torque of the low-speed damper. The pre-damper and the low-speed damper are connected to the output part by means of toothings in their disc parts which guide the damper springs so that they are axially movable, but have a rotational play which corresponds to the working range of the dampers. Friction devices corresponding to the individual damper stages can be installed between the individual disc parts.

    摘要: A torsion damping assembly which is installed between the crankshaft of the engine and the input element of the change-speed transmission in a motor vehicle has two coaxial flywheels one of which is driven by the crankshaft and the other of which can transmit torque to the transmission in response to engagement of a friction clutch. The transmission of torque between the two flywheels takes place by way of a damper and a slip clutch which latter is effective only within a selected range of possible angular movements of the two flywheels relative to each other.

    摘要: A dynamic damper 70 allows for a stable operation of a sub-clutch without complicating a structure of the sub-clutch. The dynamic damper 70 of a coupling mechanism 91 for coupling a crankshaft 90 of an engine and an input shaft 9 of a transmission includes a mass member 71, a sub-clutch 73 and an annular rubber member 72. The mass member 71 can rotate in accordance with rotation of the input shaft 9. The sub-clutch 73 has a release member 86 for release, and releases interlocking between the input shaft 9 and the mass member 71 when the crankshaft 90 and the input shaft 9 are released from each other by releasing the biasing state of a pressure plate 4c. The release member 86 is in contact with the pressure plate 4c and moves in accordance with an axial movement of the pressure plate 4c. The annular rubber member 72 elastically couples the input shaft 9 and the mass member 71 in the rotating direction when they are in the interlocked state.
