    摘要: The invention relates to a fluid compression apparatus comprising a first and a second compression chamber, an intake system communicating with the first compression chamber, a transfer system communicating with the first and second compression chambers, and a mobile piston for ensuring the compression of the fluid in the first and second compression chambers. The apparatus further comprises a discharge port which communicates with the second compression chamber and is configured to allow the outlet of compressed fluid, wherein the second compression chamber is defined by a part of the body of the piston and a fixed wall of the apparatus, the piston being translationally mobile according to a longitudinal direction, the piston having a tubular portion mounted around a fixed central guide, a terminal end of the central guide forming the fixed wall defining a part of the second compression chamber. The apparatus further comprises a sealing system formed between the central guide and the piston according to the longitudinal direction of translation of the piston, the intake system being located at a first end of the apparatus, the discharge port being located at a second end of the apparatus and the transfer system being located between the intake system and the discharge port.

    摘要: A fluid infusion device includes a fluid pump mechanism having a rotor and a stator. The rotor includes an optically detectable feature, a reference surface, and a cam element rising from the reference surface. The stator includes a cam element having a stator cam surface. The cam elements cooperate to axially displace the rotor as a function of angular position of the rotor, wherein the detectable feature rotates and axially translates as a function of angular position of the rotor. A biasing element provides force to urge the rotor cam element toward the stator cam element and toward the reference surface. A drive motor actuates the rotor to pump medication fluid from a fluid cartridge module to a body, via a subcutaneous conduit. An optical detection circuit interrogates the detectable feature during operation of the fluid pump mechanism to determine an operating condition of the fluid pump mechanism.

    摘要: A well pump assembly has a barrel, a standing valve at an upper end of a standing valve chamber, and a plunger. A travelling valve admits well fluid into the barrel during a fill stroke. The travelling valve closes during a power stroke so that the plunger pushes well fluid from the barrel into the standing valve chamber. A gas release port extends from the standing valve chamber to the exterior of the pump assembly. A check valve in the gas release port has an outward flow blocking position for blocking liquid well fluid in the standing valve chamber from exiting through the gas release port while the plunger is in the power stroke. The check valve has a gas release position that enables gas present in the standing valve chamber to flow out the gas release port while the plunger is in the power stroke.

    摘要: A vibratory cavitation pump is provided that includes a working cylinder having an fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a rod extending into the cylinder, a piston fixed to the rod, a plate fixed to the rod and spaced from the piston, an activator slidably mounted to the rod between the piston and the plate and an oscillating pumping mechanism operably connected to the rod to move the rod with respect to the working cylinder. The sliding activator creates cavitation in the fluid being pumped to increase the ease of pumping the fluid, such as high viscosity fluids. The pump can also include an external cylinder disposed around the working cylinder to impart rotational motion to the incoming fluid, thereby enhancing the cavitation created in the fluid by the pump, rendering the fluid easy to displace.
