摘要: A device and method for moving cargo on inclined, horizontal or vertical surfaces utilizes frictional forces selectively applied through the use of induced mechanical vibrations on a loaded, platform in conjunction with the force of gravity acting on the platform. The platform is vibrated to pivot or shift the platform relative to a support structure, engaging a portion of the platform secured to the platform with the support structure. At the furthest extent of this motion, the platform is pulled against the support structure by gravity, disengaging the portion from the support structure. In turn the pivot point for the device is shifted to the point of engagement between the platform and the support structure, which enables the portion of the platform to move upwardly along the support structure. The alternation of this engagement of the platform with the support structure causes the platform to move along the support structure.

摘要: A vibratory pump for dispensing a fluid in a highly controllable manner includes a pumping mechanism in which a piston is slidably disposed within a chamber having an inlet and an outlet spaced from one another. The piston is shaped similarly to the interior of the chamber and is capable of moving within the chamber in a manner that prevents any fluid in the chamber from flowing between the chamber and the piston. As a result, the pumping mechanism does not require the use of any separate compressible or elastic sealing members, thereby increasing the reliability and useful life of the pump.

摘要: The present invention is an improved vibratory pumping mechanism that increases the efficiency of utilization of the vibratory motion within a mechanism. More specifically, the mechanism includes a central chamber within which a piston is oscillated to draw fluid into the chamber and expel fluid from within the chamber outwardly through a nozzle connected to the chamber. The chamber includes a pressure tube connected to a rearward end of the chamber and to a secondary chamber positioned around and in fluid communication with the chamber. The pressure tube allows the negative pressure generated by the motion of the piston in either direction to be utilized in preventing any fluid from being directed out of the mechanism in a direction other than through the nozzle, thereby increasing the efficiency of the pump.

摘要: A vibratory pump includes an oscillator that is connected to a plunger mounted within a housing submerged beneath the surface of a fluid to be displaced. The oscillations of the plunger selectively communicate an outlet for the pump with inlet openings on the housing. The selective communication creates a slight vacuum in the pump that enables the fluid to be moved by the pump without generating any significant back pressure in the outlet fluid flow from the pump. The pump can also be configured to operate in a dual stroke mode where an outward flow of fluid from the pump is generated during both the downward and return strokes of the pump.

摘要: A vibratory pump for transferring fluid is provided. The pump includes an oscillating hollow shaft connected to a motor. The shaft includes a plunger opposite the motor that has a number of openings through which the fluid may pass. The plunger engages a seating member disposed beneath the plunger to cut off fluid entering the plunger when the plunger is submerged. When the plunger disengages from the sealing member, a small vacuum is created which urges fluid into and through the plunger and shaft and onto a hose operably connected to an outlet end of the shaft.

The pump can also include an external cylinder disposed around the working cylinder to impart rotational motion to the incoming fluid, thereby enhancing the cavitation created in the fluid by the pump, rendering the fluid easy to displace.

More specifically, the apparatus includes an adapter engageable with a conventional motive member, such as an electric drill, in order to enable the apparatus convert the rotational motion of the motive member into oscillatory motion for the pump, such that the pump can be operated using any number of different motive members. In addition, the mechanism within the apparatus is formed of a pair of piston-like members that operate in conjunction with one another to increase the pressure at which the fluid pumped by the mechanism is dispensed from the apparatus.

摘要: A vibratory pumping machine including a pumping chamber disposed within a housing for the machine having an inlet tube that is insertable into a container having a liquid therein to withdraw the liquid from the container upon actuation of the pumping mechanism also located within the housing. The chamber includes an oscillating rod that engages a resilient outlet member to form a vacuum within the chamber which draws the liquid upwardly through the tube into the chamber for dispensing through the outlet member. A mechanism including the pumping chamber can be utilized to withdraw liquids from within container of various shapes and sizes, as well as to introduce other fluids, such as gases, into containers containing such liquids.

摘要: A vibratory pump including an oscillating chamber disposed within a pump case. The chamber is connected to a shaft of a vibration generator and repeatedly contacts a resilient member located inside the pump case. The chamber traps the fluid inside the chamber when contacting the resilient member, forcing that water out a nozzle connected to the chamber. When the chamber moves away from the resilient member, a slight vacuum is created that draws more fluid into the chamber for transfer through the nozzle.
