摘要: An elevator control apparatus for moving free elevator cages to optimal stand-by floors determined according to a plurality of fuzzy rules of if-then format. A learning function is employed for altering the parameters of the fuzzy rules based on statistics of past traffic patterns over a pre-determined time period. Free elevator cages are detected by an operation control element and then moved to optimal stand-by floors. A stand-by control element responsive to fuzzy rules generates a signal directed to the operation control element for initiating movement of the free elevator cages.

摘要: A method for increasing the transportation capacity of elevators in a building involving dividing the elevators (2-7) into two or more groups, each comprising one or more elevators, in such manner that in certain loading situations the groups will temporarily serve different zones (11, 12) of the building (1). Upward peak traffic conditions are detected and the boundaries between zones (11, 12) are determined and maintained by the steps which include:(a) detecting by a peak traffic condition, mainly on the basis of elevator loading time and/or the number of people arriving in an elevator lobby (9) of the building (1).(b) calculating an initial optimal zone boundary value mainly on the basis of traffic statistics and existing transportation capacity.(c) effecting transition of elevator operation to sub-zoning during upward peak traffic.(d) re-calculating the optimal zone boundary value mainly on the basis of short-term traffic statistics, the number of people in the elevator lobby and the available transportation capacity.(e) sensing the need for change in the zone boundary and effecting the desired change as calculated in section (d).(f) cancelling the sub-zoning upon completion of the upward peak passenger period or when the volume of upward traffic has fallen below a predetermined limit.

摘要: A service estimation apparatus for an elevator adopting an estimated index with which service by the elevator can be estimated in any building and under any traffic state comprising a measurement apparatus to measure periods of service time and a microprocessor operating under program control to calculate a mean value and a variance of the periods of service time to set a reference value for designating a range of the periods of service time and to determine the estimated index, namely, an upper limit presumption value based on the mean value, the variance, and the reference value, and to determine an unachieved rate of service reference corresponding to the upper limit presumption value, the unachieved rate of service reference being a probability value at which the elevator periods of service time fall outside the range designated by the reference value.

摘要: A control apparatus for elevators in which one cycle of a fluctuating demand is divided into a plurality of sections, the demand in each section or a service condition value of the elevators for the demand is measured, the demand or the service condition value of the corresponding section is estimated from the measured value, the estimated value is compared with a measured value obtained anew, so that when both the values have not been decided to differ greatly as the result of the comparison, cages may be controlled by the use of an estimative value obtained by considering the measured value obtained anew, whereas when both the values have been decided to differ greatly as the result of the comparison, the cages may be controlled by the use of the estimated value obtained without considering the measured value obtained anew, and measurement value analyzing means is comprised for analyzing the measured values differing greatly from the estimated value, in the same section, so that when a permanent change in the demand or the service condition has been noted as the result of the analysis, the cages may be controlled by the use of the estimated value obtained by considering the measured value differing greatly from the estimated value. Thus, the estimative value is caused to quickly follow up the fluctuation of the demand or the service condition value, and the responsiveness of the cages to the new demand or service condition value can be improved.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for allocating elevator calls in an elevator system (10) comprising at least one elevator (12a-12c), which elevator system (10) is controlled by an elevator control (16) comprising a destination call allocation control, wherein passenger IDs are inputted into at least one I/O-device (20) of the elevator system (10), whereafter based on the passenger ID a destination call is issued comprising the floor of the I/O-device (20) as departure floor and a preset or inputted destination floor as destination floor of the elevator call. According to the invention when a new destination call is issued, it is checked whether or not a destination call is still pending under the same passenger ID, and if a destination call of said person is still pending, either the new call or the pending call is cancelled.
