Abstract:
A method for targeting marketing for user conversion includes receiving a list of users. Data pertaining to the users is received. A conversion likelihood score representing an estimation of how likely the user would be to converted from a trial user to a paid user is determined for each user. A similarity score representing how similar the users of the pair are to one another is determined for each possible pair of users. A graph in which each node thereof represents each user and edges between the nodes have edge weights representing the determined similarity scores is constructed. Each node is associated with a value representing its conversion likelihood score. A marketing potential score is calculated for each user using both the node-associated-values and the edge weights of the graph. A set of target users having highest marketing potential scores is constructed.
Abstract:
A method and system for improving a network search query is provided. The method includes executing a real time search with respect to a database associated with an Internet based search for specified digital information. Digital attributes of digital data identified during the real time search are identified and keywords associated with the digital attributes are ranked. In response, search based software code associated with an Internet search for the digital information is generated and associated real time user interactions are recorded. The search based software code is modified resulting in generation of modified search based software code. The modified search based software code is executed and relevant results associated with the Internet based search are presented via a GUI. The database is configured such that the modified search is stored within a logical partition of the database.

An aspect of automated color adjustment of media files includes receiving profile data corresponding to a subject of image capture. The profile data indicates color values of an element associated with the subject. An aspect also includes storing the profile data in a memory device coupled to a computer processor, capturing an image of the subject, and processing the image and adjusting color aspects based on the color values associated with the element.

A method includes obtaining from an online social media site a plurality of instances of images of objects associated with a person; analyzing with a data processor the plurality of instances of the images with a plurality of predetermined style classifiers to obtain a score for each image for each style classifier; and determining with the data processor, based on the obtained scores, a likely preference of the person for a particular style of object. The plurality of instances of images of objects associated with the person can be images that were posted, shared or pinned by person, and images that the person expressed a preference for. In a non-limiting embodiment the object is clothing, and the style can include a fashion style or fashion genre including color preferences. A system and a computer program product to perform the method are also disclosed.

Creating cross-skill training plans may be facilitated based on historical ticket data received from one or more ticketing systems. A first list of ticket categories may be identified which an agent has handled previously. A second list of ticket categories may be identified which the agent has not handled previously. For a candidate category in the second list of ticket categories, a plurality of metrics may be determined, comprising at least an importance factor associated with the candidate category and a temporal correlation between the candidate category and the first list of ticket categories. Resource utilization associated with the agent may be determined. Information comprising at least the candidate category, the plurality of metrics and the resource utilization may be presented via a computer user interface. Based on one or more criteria, a cross-skill training plan may be built.

A method and apparatus for recommending a short message recipient. The method includes parsing history short messages of a user to generate data associated with contacts, constructing a semantic association database by using the data, identifying a critical object in a new short message text of the user, analyzing an association between the critical object and the contacts by using the semantic association database, and recommending a short message recipient to the user according to a strength of association.

A global position of an observed object is determined by obtaining a first global position of an observed object with at least one positioning device. A determination is made as to whether a set of stored visual characteristic information of at least one landmark matches a visual characteristic information set obtained from at least one captured image comprising a scene associated with the observed object. In response to the set of stored visual characteristic information matching the obtained visual characteristic information set, a second global position of the observed object is determined based on a set of stored location information associated with the at least one landmark and the first global position.
Abstract:
After formation of source and drain regions and a planarization dielectric layer, a disposable gate structure is removed to form a gate cavity. A gate dielectric and a lower gate electrode are formed within the gate cavity. The lower gate electrode is vertically recessed relative to the planarization dielectric layer to form a recessed region. An inner dielectric spacer is formed within the recessed region by depositing a conformal dielectric layer and removing horizontal portions thereof by an anisotropic etch. An upper gate electrode is formed by depositing another conductive material within a remaining portion of the recessed region. A contact level dielectric layer is formed and contact structures are formed to the source and drain regions. The inner dielectric spacer prevents an electrical short between the gate electrode and a contact structure that partially overlies the gate electrode by overlay variations during lithographic processes.
