Abstract:
This invention relates to compounds of the Formula (I): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or isomer thereof, which can be useful for the treatment of diseases or conditions mediated by MMPs, ADAMs, TACE, aggrecanase, TNF-α or combinations thereof.
Abstract:
An optical receiver having a photodetector, amplifier, feedback loop, and output circuit is disclosed. The photodetector generates a current between first and second nodes in response to being illuminated with light. The amplifier has an input connected to the first node and an output connected to a third node. The feedback path connects the third node to the first node, and includes a diode in series with a circuit element having an impedance greater than a predetermined value, the diode is connected between the first and fourth nodes. The output circuit is connected to the fourth node and provides an output signal to an external circuit. The output circuit can be configured to provide an output signal that is proportional to the logarithm of the intensity of the light that illuminates the photodetector.

Abstract:
In a LDPC based communications system, a method for generating LDPC codes is provided. The method comprises the steps of: constructing a base matrix; providing a plurality of sub-matrices for forming the base matrix, with each sub-matrix being a cyclic permutation matrix; and masking the base matrix using a small sparse matrix.
Abstract:
An operational amplifier is described. The operational amplifier includes a first stage, a second stage, a third stage, and a fourth stage. The amplifier includes a nested transconductance-capacitance compensation configuration. The third stage includes class AB control mechanism. The fourth stage includes a class AB output stage.
Abstract:
A novel conjugate of a support material and an oligomer or polymer of a saccharide that is linked to the support material via urea linkages, and in which the oligomers or polymers are cross-linked via urea linkages provides a valuable stationary phase for chromatography. It is particularly valuable as a chiral stationary phase in enantiomeric separations and enantiomeric analysis.
Abstract:
A calibration method and an image capture apparatus including a calibrator are provided. The image capture apparatus includes a window glass, an image sensor under the window glass, and a calibrator. The calibrator is disposed above the image sensor and includes a first portion and a second portion. During the calibration of the image apparatus, the image sensor scans the first portion to generate a first calibration data and scans the second portion to generate a second calibration data. Then the image sensor employs the first calibration data and the second calibration data to derive the third calibration data, which is used for the image sensor to calibrate the scan results.

Abstract:
A method of modeling delays in an integrated circuit design is disclosed that may be used to reduce the computation time of path delays in an integrated circuit design. A method of modeling delays in an integrated circuit design includes the steps of receiving as input a description of an integrated circuit design; identifying at least one small net in the integrated circuit design from the description; approximating an effective capacitance of the at least one small net by the total capacitance; and approximating an interconnect delay of the at least one small net by zero.
