Abstract:
An atomizer device for use in discharging a liquid into or on the body of the patient, the device having reusable and disposable components designed to safely and automatically prevent pathogens contamination.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices are described for creating a negative bias pressure within a liquid reservoir. Embodiments may include providing a liquid reservoir coupled with an aerosol generator. The liquid reservoir may be sealed to create the sealed reservoir. An ambient pressure may be maintained while the liquid reservoir is being sealed and the ambient pressure may be maintained in the sealed liquid reservoir until a portion of the liquid is dispensed. Further, embodiments may include vibrating the aperture plate to dispense the portion of the liquid. The portion of the liquid dispensed may decreases the amount of the liquid in the sealed reservoir. By decreasing the amount of liquid in the sealed reservoir, a negative bias pressure between an air side and a liquid side of the aperture plate may be created.
Abstract:
Provided herein are methods of treating and inducing ulcerative colitis in a subject. Also provided are methods of treating subjects with mild to moderate active ulcerative colitis, including ulcerative proctitis and proctosigmoiditis. Abstract:
Disclosed is a constant quantity control nebulization device including a main body, a nebulization module, a fixing plate and a rotary ring, and the device is installed to a container that contains a liquid to be nebulized. A first liquid storage space with a predetermined volume is defined at the top of the main body, and the nebulization module is installed in the main body and interconnected to the first liquid storage space, and the fixing plate is fixed onto the main body and has a first through hole, the rotary ring is sheathed on the top of the main body and axially coupled to the fixing plate, and the rotary ring has a second through hole corresponding to the first through hole. The consumption of the liquid to be nebulized can be controlled by rotating the rotary ring to improve the convenience of operation significantly.
Abstract:
A combined medication and training mask for an animal includes a body, a mask module and a plenum module. A cavity is provided in a terminal end of the mask module. A nebulizer is received in that cavity.
Abstract:
A nozzle for generating an aerosol from a fluid and a gas is described. The nozzle comprises at least one wettable cone-shaped gas exit channel that widens in a direction of gas flow from a cone apex to a cone base of the wettable cone-shaped gas exit channel and is connected at the cone apex to a nozzle gas supply channel. The nozzle further comprises at least one annular fluid exit port at the circumference of the cone base that is connected to a nozzle fluid supply channel. Further, a nozzle holder is described. The nozzle holder comprises a cylindrical crown comprises a plurality of circumferentially spaced grooves that are connected to the ring-shaped fluid exit port.
Abstract:
A sprayer includes: a sprayer body; a nozzle extending from the sprayer body; and an irradiation unit disposed on a leading end of the nozzle and emitting light that is oriented and diffuses in a leading end direction of the nozzle. The nozzle includes: an elongated nozzle body extending from the sprayer body and having a curved portion on a leading end side; and a nozzle head disposed on a leading end of the nozzle body. The irradiation unit is arranged inside a curve shape of the curved portion.
Abstract:
A device for spraying a cosmetic composition may include a sonotrode, the sonotrode having an end collar defining an ejection surface for ejecting particles of composition, the collar being suitable for bending under the effect of vibration of the sonotrode.
Abstract:
A method for delivering medicament such as for ameliorating pain in a patient includes introducing an injector through a nasal passage of the patient into a region substantially medial and/or posterior and/or inferior to a sphenopalatine ganglion (SPG) of the patient; and delivering a medicament from the injector superiorly and/or laterally and/or anteriorly towards the SPG. A device for delivering a medicament to a patient in need thereof includes (a) an injector containing a first end configured to remain outside a nasal passage of the patient and a second end configured for entry into the nasal passage of the patient; and (b) an introducer configured for engagement with a nostril of the patient and containing a passageway configured for slidably receiving the injector. The injector is moveable between a storage position preceding the engagement and an engaging position pursuant to the engagement.
Abstract:
An atomizer includes: an enclosed reservoir defining an inner space adapted to receive a liquid therein; a jet nozzle provided in the inner space for passage of an air jet therethrough; a jacket sleeved around the jet nozzle to define a fluid-introducing gap therebetween, the fluid-introducing gap being in fluid communication with the inner space for passage of the liquid therethrough; a mist-discharging conduit extending sealingly into and in fluid communication with the inner space and aligned with the jacket in a jet-ejecting direction; and a compressible member connected to the mist-discharging conduit and the jacket and compressible in the jet-ejecting direction. The jacket, the compressible member, and the mist-discharging conduit are an integrally formed single piece.
