Abstract: Crowdsourcing techniques may be used to enhance the experience of users viewing and/or listening to content (e.g., live and/or pre-recorded content, such as movies, sporting events, etc.). A server device may analyze audio, captured by multiple user devices, in order to determine trigger points, in the content. The trigger point may be a time point in the content, at which the captured audio, received from multiple user devices, should be played by subsequent user devices that play back the content.

Abstract: Implementations generally relate to broadcast of content data to geographic areas by devices. In some implementations, a computer-implemented method to broadcast data includes obtaining an indication at a first device to broadcast a content post, determining a broadcast area based on a stored broadcast history for one or more previous content posts related to the content post, and broadcasting the content post. The broadcast is configured such that the content post is to be received by one or more receiving devices located in the broadcast area.

Abstract: A method implemented in a computer system for controlling the delivery of data and audio/video content. The method delivers primary content to the subscriber device for viewing by a subscriber. The method also delivers secondary content to the companion device for viewing by the subscriber in parallel with the subscriber viewing the primary content, where the secondary content relates to the primary content. The method extracts attention estimation features from the primary content, and monitors the companion device to determine an interaction measurement for the subscriber viewing the secondary content on the companion device. The method calculates an attention measurement for the subscriber viewing the primary content based on the attention estimation features, and the interaction measurement, and controls the delivery of the secondary content to the companion device based on the attention measurement.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture for media monitoring based on predictive signature caching are disclosed. Disclosed example methods include processing historical metering data provided by a meter monitoring media presented at a monitored site to predict media exposure to occur at the monitored site during a future monitoring interval. Disclosed example methods also include obtaining reference signatures representative of reference media predicted to be presented at the monitored site during the future monitoring interval. Disclosed example methods further include providing the reference signatures to the meter prior to the future monitoring interval to cache at the meter to perform media monitoring during the future monitoring interval.

Abstract: This disclosure provides examples of computer-implemented systems and processes for determining a user browsing session context, intent, or activity based on contextual information associated with a user's browsing session, and using this determined context as a basis to filter or improve selection of content items for the user. For example, if the user is building up a watch list (for example, discovering new titles), then it may be desirable to filter out items for recommendation which are already on that watch list. However, when the user is searching for something to watch in the current session (for example, consuming content), then it may be more appropriate to show items already added to the watch list as recommended content. Item recommendations can thus be improved or filtered based in part on parameters of the user's browsing activity with respect to content items.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method and apparatus for a wireless exercise monitoring system for interactively monitoring an aspect of exercise, sports, or fitness utilizing a wearable device, such as a watch, eyewear, or smart apparel. The device is equipped with, or connected to, a digital camera. Sensors integrated with, or wirelessly connected to, the wearable internet device record physiological data during exercise and data measuring the amount of exercise performed. The data and visual images from the camera are transmitted to one or more interne servers, and may be shared with other mobile interne devices.
