Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for an infrared and visible imaging system. In some implementations, Image data from a visible-light camera is obtained. A position of a device is determined based at least in part on the image data from the visible-light camera. An infrared camera is positioned so that the device is in a field of view of the infrared camera, with the field of view of the infrared camera being narrower than the field of view of the visible-light camera. Infrared image data from the infrared camera that includes regions representing the device is obtained. Infrared image data from the infrared camera that represents the device is recorded. Position data is also recorded that indicates the location and pose of the infrared camera when the infrared image data is acquired by the infrared camera.

Abstract: A system for monitoring of elastomeric bearings is described. A pattern or shape can be applied to a joint comprising elastomeric material. A camera can be disposed such that it can capture photographs or video of the pattern and how it deforms under torque and other stresses. Actual deformation of the shape/pattern can be compared to an expected deformation to gauge levels of degradation of the elastomeric material or other joint components.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to various temperature reference systems capable of generating at least one reference temperature. Such systems may provide the reference temperature to an IR camera which may then use the reference temperature in measuring a temperature of a target who has an unknown temperature. Abstract: A building system, such as an elevator system, a physical access control system, or a combined elevator and physical access control system, has a controller system to control the building system to perform a building action, and a credential acquisition unit to acquire a credential presented by a user. The building system includes a camera system having a thermographic camera, which generates an infrared image of a face of the user, and an image processing system. The image processing system processes the infrared image to determine if the user's face shows a temperature value that is higher than a set threshold temperature value. The controller system enables or disables the building action as a function of the acquired user credential and the result signal.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for determining dryness of produce using image data. A method can include receiving, by a computing system and from an imaging device, image data of a batch of produce, performing, by the computing system, object detection to identify each produce in a frame of the image data, extracting, by the computing system, temperature values in pixels of the identified produce in the frame, and determining, by the computing system, distribution characteristics of the extracted temperature values. The method can also include predicting, by the computing system, a dryness metric for the batch of produce based on applying a trained model to the determined distribution characteristics. The model can be trained using temperature distributions of other produce, the temperature distributions being annotated based on previous mappings of skewness of the temperature distributions to dryness.

Abstract: The disclosure describes systems of navigating a hazardous environment. The system includes personal protective equipment (PPE) and computing device(s) configured to process sensor data from the PPE, generate pose data of an agent based on the processed sensor data, and track the pose data as the agent moves through the hazardous environment. The PPE may include an inertial measurement device to generate inertial data and a radar device to generate radar data for detecting a presence or arrangement of objects in a visually obscured environment. The PPE may include a thermal image capture device to generate thermal image data for detecting and classifying thermal features of the hazardous environment. The PPE may include one or more sensors to detect a fiducial marker in a visually obscured environment for identifying features in the visually obscured environment. In these ways, the systems may more safely navigate the agent through the hazardous environment.

Abstract: A camera assembly for use in medical tracking applications having a range camera and a thermographic camera in a fixed relative position. The range camera is configured to acquire a first image of an object at a first instant of time and a second image at a second instant of time. The thermographic camera is configured to acquire a first thermal image of the object at the first instant and a second thermal image at the second instant. A processor identifies at least one point pair in the first thermal image and the second thermal image. The at least one point pair is mapped to corresponding point pairs associated with the first image and the second image. Movement of the object is determined based on the mapping.
