摘要:
A system for obtaining energy from surface waves is disclosed. The system can include an array of buoys. The array of buoys can include a framework having a plurality of vertical members. The array of buoys can also include a base buoy coupled to the framework to support the framework in a body of water and maintain the vertical members in a vertical orientation. The array of buoys can further include a plurality of movable buoys. Each of the plurality of movable buoys can be movably disposed about a different one of the vertical members and configured to move relative to the respective vertical members and the base buoy in response to a wave in the body of water. Additionally, the array of buoys can include an energy conversion device operable with each of the plurality of movable buoys to generate power from movement of the movable buoys relative to the vertical members.

A power generating device utilizing oscillating water for converting into wave power (1) includes: a power generating tank (10) formed with a first chamber (11), a second chamber (12) and a communicating hole (13); a quantitative liquid (20) filled in the first chamber (11) and the second chamber (12); a resonating member (30), having one end communicated with the first chamber (11) and the other end disposed in a wave (2); a quantitative gas (40) filled between the first chamber (11) and the resonating member (30); and a driving member (50, 50′, 50″) pushed by the quantitative liquid (20). Accordingly, during the reciprocal movement of the wave (2), the quantitative gas (40) is pushed and squeezed thereby enabling the quantitative liquid (20) to push the driving member (50, 50′, 50″) so as to generate power.

A rolling-door-type load regulating device and an ocean energy power generating device using the same are described herein. The rolling-door-type load regulating device includes a water guiding unit, a roller spindle, and a driver. The water guiding unit includes at least two water guiding plates connected in parallel. The roller spindle is fixed to one end of the water guiding unit. The driver is connected with the roller spindle and drives the roller spindle to rotate to spread or retract the water guiding unit. The rolling-door-type load regulating device in the invention can regulate the load suffered by the hydraulic turbine. Therefore, the power generated by the ocean energy power generating device can be stably output and be directly used, thereby solving the problem that the output power of the conventional ocean energy power generator has wide fluctuations and poor stability.

A submersible turbine-generator unit includes two or more turbines mounted on a common shaft with a generator therebetween. Each such turbine is capable of providing relatively low-speed, unidirectional rotation under a reversible ultra low head pressure and/or low velocity fluid flow. A plurality of airfoil-shaped turbine blades mount parallel to the common shaft and transversely to the direction of fluid flow for rotation in a plane parallel to the fluid flow. The turbines convert energy in the waterway currents into mechanical energy that will transfer through the turbine shaft to a cylindrical permanent magnet generator which will convert mechanical energy in the form of RPM and torque into electricity. Electricity from the variable speed electric generator is controlled, synchronized, conditioned and transformed into utility-grade electricity using a power electronics system in each module.

The invention concerns an apparatus for the production of energy from currents in bodies of water with a surface towards the atmosphere. The apparatus comprises an axial turbine (1) with blades with adjustable pitch. The turbine (1) is secured to a housing and the housing (2) is secured to a foundation (14) that furthermore is founded to the seabed (10) below the flowing body of water. The apparatus is completely submerged below the surface of the body of water, and the turbine blades can be twisted at least 180null to allow the turbine (1) to rotate the same direction regardless of the direction of flow of the body of water. Furthermore the invention describes a method for the installation of such appa-ratuses and a foundation for the installation.
