A repeater 100 which cooperates with another repeater 200 to relay data to a base station 300 includes a storage section 113 which stores first data of the local apparatus, a receiving section 101 which receives at least a portion of the second data of another repeater 200, an interleave section 111 which applies interleaving to at least a portion of the first data and the second data in accordance with a difference in propagation quality between the base station 300 and each of the repeaters, and segments data after interleaving, and a transmitting section 116 which, if data after interleaving is segmented, transmits segmented data to the base station.

    摘要: An examining unit examines the radio wave environments on at least one of a plurality of frequency channels usable in communications. Based on a result of examination by the examining unit, a selector selects a frequency channel to be used for communications. While using the channel selected by the selector, an execution unit transmits signals from a plurality of antennas to a terminal apparatus and performs calibration on the plurality of antennas by receiving signals from the terminal apparatus via the plurality of antennas.

    摘要: A control unit, in cooperation with an interface (IF) unit, a modulation unit and a baseband processing unit, produces a packet signal composed of a plurality of streams. While using as a reference a first known signal assigned to one of the plurality of streams and performing a cyclic timing shift within the first known signal on a first known signal assigned to another stream, the control unit performs a timing shift also on an extensional known signal assigned to a stream where no data is assigned. The amounts of timing shift are given degrees of priority beforehand and for the stream where data signals are assigned the control unit uses the amounts of timing shift in descending degree of priority. For the stream where no data signal is assigned, the control unit uses the amounts of timing shift also in descending degree of priority.

    摘要: There are provided a wireless transmitting apparatus and a wireless transmission method that enable reduction of transmission delay of a system by enhancing receiving performance achieved during transmission of network-coded data. A decoding section 18 subjects a demodulated signal to error correction decoding and outputs the decoded signal to a buffer 17. The buffer 17 holds a data packet for a given period of time and outputs the packet to an encoding section 12. An encoding control section 11 controls an encoding rate for transmission data and outputs control information to the encoding section 12. In accordance with control information from the encoding control section 11, the encoding section 12 subjects a data packet to error correction encoding and outputs the coded data packet to a coding section 13. The coding section 13 subjects data sequences that pair up with each other to XOR processing and outputs a processing result to a modulation section 14. A wireless transmission section 15 subjects a modulated signal to transmission processing, such as digital-to-analogue conversion, up-conversion, and amplification, and transmits the signal subjected to transmission processing from an antenna 16 through wireless communication.

    摘要: The error rate characteristic in a wireless communication apparatus for relaying communications between a mobile station and a base station is improved. For the modulation level of the resource for network coding, the modulation level from a relay station to the mobile station or the modulation level from the relay station to the base station, whichever is lower, is selected and thus the modulation level becomes QPSK. The relay station preferentially assigns S1 of a systematic bit of high importance, of S1+P1 to the network coding resource. The signal of S1+P1 not assigned to the network coding resource is assigned to the resource for the base station from the relay station. In the example, S1 is assigned to the resource for network coding and P1 is assigned to the resource for the base station from the relay station.
