    Abstract: An example electronic device includes a first antenna module configured to receive a serving beam; a second antenna module configured to measure an intensity of a signal of a neighbor beam; a first temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature corresponding to the first antenna module; a second temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature corresponding to the second antenna module; at least one processor; and a memory operatively connected to the at least one processor, wherein the memory stores instructions which, when executed, cause the least one processor to: determine whether the first antenna module is in an overheated state while performing communication with the first base station through the first antenna module and, based on determining that the first antenna module is in the overheated state, perform handover to the second base station based on channel measurement information regarding the second base station.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing on which at least a part of an external device operating communication in a frequency band of 20 GHz or higher is mounted, support members comprising a first support member connected to an area of the housing so as to support wearing of the electronic device in an area of the user's head while surrounding at least a part of the horizontal circumference of the user's head, and a second member surrounding at least a part of the vertical circumference of the user's head, and an antenna module disposed in an area of the second support member. The antenna module comprises an antenna layer comprising multiple patch antenna elements, a wireless circuit layer laminated on the lower portion of the antenna layer, and a heat-radiating layer laminated on the lower portion of the wireless circuit layer.

    Abstract: An electronic device and method thereof are provided. A method includes, while a wireless communication of a first frequency band is performed via a first 5G antenna, obtaining first status information related to the first 5G antenna and second status information related to a second 5G antenna; if the first status information does not satisfy a first predetermined condition and the second status information satisfies a second predetermined condition, switching from the first 5G antenna to the second 5G antenna, and performing the wireless communication in the first frequency band via the second 5G antenna; and if the first status information does not satisfy the first predetermined condition and the second status information does not satisfy the second predetermined condition, switching from the first 5G antenna to a legacy communication antenna, and performing the wireless communication in a second frequency band via the legacy communication antenna.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise a battery, a multi-coil circuit including a first coil and a second coil, a magnetic field control circuit electrically connected with the multi-coil circuit, a power management module electrically connected with the battery and the magnetic field control circuit, and a processor electrically connected with the multi-coil circuit, the magnetic field control circuit, and the power management module. Upon detecting an external electronic device to receive wireless power, the processor may control the magnetic field control circuit to transmit power having a first characteristic to the external electronic device through the first coil, and upon transmitting the power having the first characteristic, control the magnetic field control circuit to maintain transmission through the first coil based on a first operating frequency and a threshold operating frequency in a designated frequency range, or upon transmitting the power having the first characteristic, adjust an operating voltage based on the first operating frequency and the threshold operating frequency and control the magnetic field control circuit to transmit power having a second characteristic through the first coil and the second coil based on a first frequency varied in response to the adjusted operating voltage. Other embodiments may also be possible.
