An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus according to the present disclosure includes receiving a bitstream including residual information; deriving quantized transform coefficients for a current block based on the residual information included in the bitstream; deriving transform coefficients for the current block from the quantized transform coefficients based on an inverse quantization process; deriving residual samples for the current block by applying inverse transform to the derived transform coefficients; and generating a reconstructed picture based on the residual samples for the current block.

The present invention provides a method of decoding a video signal comprising a current block using an affine mode, including parsing a skip flag or a merge flag from the video signal, identifying whether the sample number or size of the current block satisfies a preset condition if a skip mode or a merge mode is applied based on the skip flag or merge flag, parsing an affine flag if the condition is satisfied, wherein the affine flag indicates whether an affine prediction mode is applied, and the affine prediction mode indicates a mode deriving a motion vector in a pixel or subblock unit using a control point motion vector, and determining an affine merge mode as an optimal prediction mode if the affine prediction mode is applied based on the affine flag.

Disclosed are an intra-prediction mode-based image processing method and an apparatus therefor. Particularly, the intra-prediction mode-based image processing method may comprise the steps of: generating a predicted sample of a current block on the basis of an intra-prediction mode of the current block; calculating the distance between the predicted sample and a first reference sample used to generate the predicted sample; and when the distance between the predicted sample and the first reference sample is larger than a filtering reference value, filtering the predicted sample by a weighted addition of the predicted sample and a second reference sample, wherein, among reference samples adjacent to the current block, at least one of a reference sample having the same horizontal coordinate component as the predicted sample and a reference sample having the same vertical coordinate component as the predicted sample is used as the second reference sample.

According to the present invention, a picture encoding method comprises the steps of: selecting a Vth basis function for a current block according to a specific order from among basis functions; deriving a Vth expansion coefficient on the basis of the selected Vth basis function; calculating a Vth weighted error criterion on the basis of the selected Vth basis function and the derived Vth expansion coefficient; and encoding and outputting information indicating the Vth number as a basis number when the value of the Vth weighted error criterion is less than a specific critical value. According to the present invention, more accurate intra prediction in a sample unit can be performed, and intra prediction performance can be significantly improved. In addition, according to the present invention, calculation complexity can be reduced, thereby enabling a data amount for a residual signal for a current block to be removed or reduced and the overall coding efficiency to be improved.

An intra prediction method includes the steps of: acquiring intra prediction mode information from a bitstream; deriving neighboring samples of a current block; determining an intra prediction mode for the current block on the basis of the intra prediction mode information; deriving a prediction sample of the current block on the basis of the intra prediction mode and the neighboring samples; determining filtering reference samples for the prediction sample on the basis of the intra prediction mode; and deriving a filtered prediction sample by applying filtering to the prediction sample on the basis of the filtering reference samples. According to the present invention, a prediction sample can be adaptively filtered according to the intra prediction mode, and intra prediction performance can be improved.

The present invention relates to 3D video coding device and method. A decoding method according to the present invention provides a 3D video decoding method. A decoding method comprises the steps of: deriving a disparity vector with respect to a current block; deriving the location of a corresponding sample on a reference view on the basis of the disparity vector; deriving the location of a reference sample on the basis of the location of the corresponding sample; and deriving movement information of a prediction block that covers the location of the reference sample. According to the present invention, when a corresponding block in a reference view is derived by means of a disparity vector, movement information of the corresponding block can be derived in accordance with movement information compression, a buffer load of an encoder and a decoder can be reduced, and coding efficiency can be enhanced by having the amount of information being processed reduced.

The present invention relates to a video decoding apparatus and method for decoding a multi-view video, and the method for decoding a video, according to the present invention, is the video decoding method for decoding a multi-view video, comprising the steps of: inducing video information required for decoding a current block by entropy-decoding a bitstream; inducing a first disparity vector based on a neighboring block of the current block in the same view by using the video information, inducing a second disparity vector by using the first disparity vector and a reference view depth, and inducing a third disparity vector using the difference between the first disparity vector and the second disparity vector; inducing a prediction sample of the current block by using one of the first disparity vector, the second disparity vector, or the third disparity vector; and applying filtering to a current picture which has been restored using the prediction sample.
