摘要: The present invention is directed to a gypsum panel and a method of making such gypsum panel. For instance, in one embodiment, the gypsum panel comprises a gypsum core and a first facing material and a second facing material sandwiching the gypsum core, wherein the gypsum core includes gypsum and an alkoxylated compound. In another embodiment, the gypsum panel comprises a gypsum core and a first facing material and a second facing material sandwiching the gypsum core, wherein the gypsum core includes gypsum and a polyol compound and wherein the gypsum panel exhibits a humidified deflection of greater than 0 inches to 0.05 inches. The methods of the present invention are directed to making the aforementioned gypsum panels by providing the first facing material, providing a gypsum slurry comprising gypsum, water, and the respective compound onto the first facing material, and providing the second facing material on the gypsum slurry.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for producing a composite comprising: a. providing a particulate material, wherein the particulate material comprises minerals having a content of at least 30% m/m of calcium, magnesium, aluminium, silicon, potassium or iron, or a combination of two or more thereof. b. providing an aggregate, c. providing a primary additive, wherein the primary additive comprises a sugar or derivative thereof, a polyol or derivative thereof, an organic acid, an organic acid salt or an inorganic acid, or any combination of two or more thereof, d. mixing the particulate material, the aggregate and the primary additive with water to form a mixture, and e. carbonating the mixture in the presence of carbon dioxide, wherein the concentration of carbon dioxide is greater than about 2 vol %.

摘要: A method includes masking at least one hole of an article with a paste, wherein the hole opens onto a surface of the article, applying a coating to the surface of the article, and removing the paste including contacting the paste with water, leaving at least one open hole in the surface of the coated article. The paste includes about 40-80 wt % of a filler material, about 0.5-20 wt % of an inorganic binder, about 0.5-15 wt % of a polyhydroxy compound and about 5-25 wt % of water. The filler material includes a first material which includes alkali metal doped alumina, zirconium oxide, titanium oxide, silicon dioxide, or a combination thereof and a second material which includes a silicate. A weight ratio between the first and second materials is in a range of about 1-10.

摘要: A strength enhancing admixture for cementitious and/or pozzolanic compositions including, based on the total dry weight of the admixture, calcium silicate hydrate in an amount of from about 0.5 to about 94 weight percent, and: i) at least one alkanolamine in an amount of from about 0.5 to about 55 weight percent; ii) at least one inorganic accelerator in an amount of from about 0.5 to about 85 weight percent; and iii) at least one carbohydrate in an amount of from about 0.5 to about 50 weight percent; wherein the calcium silicate hydrate includes a product of a reaction of a water-soluble calcium compound with a water-soluble silicate compound in presence of a water-soluble dispersant; and wherein the at least one inorganic accelerator includes any inorganic accelerator(s) other than calcium silicate hydrate.

摘要: There is provided a gypsum composition for a drying type coating material, the gypsum composition, when made into a gypsum-based coating material by addition of water, capable of forming a coating film in which color unevenness is suppressed even though the coating film is thin and smooth. This gypsum composition for a drying type coating material contains hemihydrate gypsum having a mean particle diameter of 50 μm or less, calcium carbonate having a mean particle diameter of 50 μm or less, and a setting retarder, wherein the gypsum composition has a content of calcium carbonate of 100 to 400 parts by mass and a content of the setting retarder of 0.1 parts by mass or more each based on 100 parts by mass of the hemihydrate gypsum.

Concrete blends may comprise such compositions, a cement and water. Methods for forming and/or using the concrete blends may comprise allowing the concrete blends to form a hardened mass.
