摘要: The disclosure provides a cleaning apparatus and detecting method thereof. The cleaning apparatus includes a fan, a motor, a detecting device and a control unit. The motor drives the fan to create an air flow through the cleaning apparatus. The detecting device is electrically connected to the motor, and is utilized detected an impedance of the motor. The control unit is electrically connected to the motor and the detecting device respectively, for comparing the impedance of the motor with a predetermined value and outputting a signal indicative of a comparison result.

摘要: A portable extractor apparatus is shown which includes a wheel mounted base having a solution tank for dispensing and recovering cleaning solution. A cleaning wand is connected to the solution tank and has a head which contacts the surface to the cleaned for dispensing and recovering cleaning solution. A fluid pump circulates cleaning solution in a path between the solution tank and the cleaning head. A vacuum motor provides a vacuum source for the cleaning head for suctioning the surface being cleaned and has an exhaust fan for exhausting excess heat created by the operation of the vacuum motor. A fluid operated heat exchanger is mounted in the vicinity of the vacuum motor. The heat exchanger is plumbed in the circulation path of the cleaning fluid, whereby excess heat generated by the vacuum motor is transferred to the cleaning fluid being applied from the cleaning head onto the surface to be cleaned. The cleaning head can also be integrally mounted on the wheel mounted base.

摘要: The cyclone-type dust collecting apparatus for a vacuum cleaner can reduce reverse flow of dirt and kill any bacteria in the dirt-collecting receptacle. The cyclone-type dust-collecting apparatus has a protruding flow path formed on the front side of the cyclone body and a lamp-positioning groove depressed inwardly at one side of the dirt-collecting receptacle for an ultraviolet lamp disposed in the cleaner body to apply ultraviolet rays radiated into the dirt-collecting receptacle. Accordingly, various bacteria inside the dirt collecting receptacle can be killed as the ultraviolet lamp disposed in the lamp positioning groove of the dirt collecting receptacle continuously applies the ultraviolet rays into the dirt collecting receptacle while the cleaner is on. Moreover, reverse flow of the dirt through the protruding flow path can be reduced as the storage level of the dirt stored near the protruding flow path of the dirt collecting receptacle is lowered and the space between the dirt near the protruding flow path of the dirt collecting receptacle and the cyclone body is expanded.

摘要: Disclosed is a robot cleaner which cleans a floor, and generates negative-ions while traveling around a predetermined area. The robot cleaner includes a cleaner body which travels automatically around a cleaning area, a driving unit for driving a plurality of wheels mounted on a lower part of the cleaner body, a suction unit mounted in the cleaner body to draw in dust on a floor, a negative-ion generation unit mounted in the cleaner body to generate a negative-ion, and a control unit. While the robot cleaner travels automatically, it also performs vacuum cleaning using the suction unit, and air cleaning using the negative-ion generation unit, either at the same time or selectively. Accordingly, the floor is cleaned and air is purified by the negative-ion, which enables a hygienic cleansing and a healthy home environment.

摘要: When the electrically driven fan (14) of a vacuum cleaner is driven, air containing dust is drawn into the cleaner main body (1) through a hose (7) connected to a hose socket (8) and is exhausted into the outside of the cleaner main body (1) through an exhaust port (1b) via first and second suction passageways (10, 13). Disposed outside the first suction passageway (10) is an ion generator (23), it being arranged that plus and minus ions generated in the ion generator (23) are fed to the air stream flowing in the first suction passageway (10). Since the plus and minus ions kill floating germs in the air stream, the exhaust can be purified.

摘要: The present invention provides for noise reduction during operation of a portable blower by reducing the noise or acoustic energy escaping from the housing outlet and blower tube. The noise reduction is achieved by placing sound absorbing material in the blower tube. The sound absorbing material may include flared upstream and downstream ends to reduce turbulence. The sound absorbing material may be held within the blower tube by an insert frame such that substantial portions of the sound absorbing material are exposed to air passing through the blower tube. Also disclosed is a sound absorbing insert that can be placed within an existing blower tube to retrofit portable blowers with noise reduction technology.

摘要: A hard bag portion of a vacuum cleaner is provided with a scent dispensing arrangement where suction airflow is valved at the hard bag portion before the downstream disposed scent tablet. It includes a manually actuated loosely mounted, slide member having a pocket for containing a scent tablet. This slide and its pocket move sidewardly to be centered on or offset from a slot in the hard bag through which vacuum cleaner discharge air flows. This air flow impinges directly or indirectly of the scent tablet to provide a flow of lesser or greater scented air which escapes around the loosely mounted slide member.

摘要: An electric vacuum cleaner delivers clean water from a water supply tank to a steam generator and atomizes the water with air received from a suction generator. The steam generator converts the atomized water into steam, and the steam is discharged onto the floor through a suction head. The suction head carries a movable cloth for wiping the floor. Dirt, steam and air are sucked up through the suction head and delivered to a dirt collector where the dirt, air, and water (condensed steam) are separated from one another.

摘要: The improved carpet cleaning machine, intended for use with "dry" carpet cleaning systems using dampened granules or particles, can be used in either of two modes. One involves carpet "brushing" for dirt removal by urging particles into the carpet and along the fibers. The other involves later vacuuming for particle removal. To facilitate the latter, one embodiment of the machine has first and second particle-removing media such as a concentrically-mounted cyclone separator and conical screen filter, respectively. The separator has air flowing through it downwardly along a vortical path and then upward, such air flow often carrying along a few particles. Such high-velocity particles impinge on the outer surface of the screen filter and many particles adhering to such filter are dislodged. The filter is said to thereby be "purged" or cleaned. There may also be a third medium and even a fourth medium to remove very fine particles before the air is expelled back into the room. Other embodiments use an automotive, resilient foam or flat-element filter medium in place of or in addition to the conical screen filter.

摘要: An electric vacuum cleaner has an air discharge duct and an ozonizer arranged within the exhaust duct for defining air passages through which the exhaust air is constrained to flow and generating a corona discharge laterally across the air passages. Ozone is thereby generated and mixed with the exhaust air. The voltage which generates the corona discharge is varied in accordance with changes in room temperature in order to minimize changes in the quantity of ozone generated.
