摘要： A compact disc stack cyclone separator includes: a fluid inlet; a vortex generator which generates a forced vortex; a conical or cylindrical vortex generating chamber; a separation chamber which is a cavity formed by downstream open ends of stacked truncated cones; narrow gaps between the stacked truncated cones, a collecting channel for heavy phrase fluid from the gaps between the stacked truncated cones which installed about the outlets of the gaps at upstream open end of the stacked truncated cones to channel heavy phrase fluid to a storage chamber of heavy phrase fluid; and an outlet for heavy phrase fluid to flow out from the storage chamber of heavy phrase fluid, while the outlet of light phrase fluid is annexed to the downstream open end of the last stacked truncated cone which is the downstream open end of separation chamber.

The dust collecting apparatus includes a first cyclone unit which rotates air introduced from outside to separate dust from the air; a second cyclone unit including a second centrifugal separation chamber into which dust discharged from the first cyclone unit is introduced, and second cyclone discharge pipe for passage of air discharged from the second centrifugal separation chamber; a filter assembly including a filter member arranged in the upper portion of the second cyclone unit to separate fine dust from air discharged from the second cyclone unit; and a dust removing unit which separates dust from the filter member, wherein the dust separated from the filter member passes through the second cyclone discharge pipe and is collected in the second centrifugal separation chamber.

A separated material collection chamber surrounds at least a portion of the cyclone chamber and is communication therewith via a separated material outlet. The separated material collection chamber is spaced at least about 0.5 inches from the cyclone chamber. In addition, the separated material collection chamber is spaced from the bottom of the cyclone by at least about 0.5 inches.
