摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device that determines each of a default downlink forwarding address of a first interface of a user plane and a currently used downlink forwarding address of the first interface of the user plane. One of an uplink user data packet comprising an origination address of a second interface of the user plane, a downlink user data packet comprising a destination address of the second interface of the user plane or both are received, by way of the user plane. One of the default downlink forwarding address, the currently used downlink forwarding address or both can be modified based on the uplink origination address, the destination address or both. Modification of the default downlink forwarding address, the currently used downlink forwarding address or both results in a redirection of an associated packet flow within the user plane. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: The invention provides a system and method for repairing corrupt security information. At a serving node in a telecommunications network, security capabilities of a terminal are received when the terminal registers with the serving node. The received security capabilities are stored. A path switch request message is received from a target base station following an X2 handover request sent from a source base station to the target base station for handover of the terminal, the path switch request including the security capabilities of the terminal. The serving node determines whether the security capabilities of the terminal stored in the storage medium should be sent to the target base station. If so, the serving node sends the stored security capabilities of the terminal to the target base station for use in reselecting security algorithms to be used in communications between the target base station and terminal following the handover.

摘要: Methods and systems are presented in this disclosure that enable mobile devices without access to an active network connection (e.g. cellular, satellite or Internet network) to communicate between each other by sending and receiving data packets (e.g. text, location, or image) through a mesh of connected devices. A mobile device receives a request to send a packet having an identifier of a recipient device. Based on the identifier, the mobile device determines whether the recipient device is in a list of mobile devices within a wireless range of the mobile device. Based on the determination, the mobile device includes the packet into an outgoing queue having packets for forwarding. The mobile device establishes one or more connections with one or more mobile devices in the list, and forwards one or more packets from the outgoing queue to the one or more mobile devices using the one or more connections.

摘要: Provided is a content delivery method and architecture for delivering content from a node in a content delivery network (CDN) using an anycast address to direct a requesting device to access a content manifest. The manifest server of the CDN may select the provided manifest based on information received from the requesting device and/or any other network information, may alter attributes of the manifest itself, or direct the requesting device to a different device or manifest server of the CDN to obtain the manifest. The selection of the manifest, alteration of the manifest, or new location to obtain the manifest causes the connection for content to occur at one or more servers accessible through a unicast address, rather than an anycast address.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, apparatus and computer program for traffic steering. Particularly, a method is provided at a first service provisioning network operated by a first network operator for steering traffic from a second mobile network operated by a second network operator. The method comprises obtaining traffic steering information for the traffic from the second mobile network and generating, based at least on the traffic steering information, a traffic steering policy for the traffic from the second mobile network. The method also comprises informing the traffic steering policy to a traffic controller of the first service provisioning network so that the traffic controller steers the traffic from the second mobile network based on the traffic steering policy. Another method is provided for facilitating steering, within a service provisioning network operated by a first network operator, of traffic from a mobile network operated by a second network operator. The method comprises generating traffic steering information based at least on requirements from the mobile network and providing the traffic steering information to the service provisioning network for generating a traffic steering policy for the traffic from the mobile network.

In an embodiment, a first zone controller of the first zone receives information indicating network capability. The information includes a plurality of parameters of a constraint function. The first network controller provisions a network node, e.g., at the second zone, to forward traffic from the first zone to the second zone in accordance with the received information. The information indicating network capability includes one or more variables relating to the constraint. The constraint relates to at least one current traffic level or at least one wireless link in the second zone.
