The antenna element provides a substantially similar impedance level and radiation pattern in the first and second frequency bands. The geometric elements are arranged such that the antenna element does not comprise a group of single band antennas that respectively operate in the first and second frequency bands, and the antenna element is not a fractal type antenna element.

    摘要: A communication device includes a ground element and an antenna element. The antenna element is disposed on a dielectric substrate which is adjacent to an edge of the ground element. The antenna element includes a radiating element, a shorting element and a feeding element. The radiating element has a first open end, a second open end and a shorting point. The radiating element is divided into a first element and a second element by the shorting point. The first element includes the first open end, and the second element includes the second open end. One end of the shorting element is coupled to the shorting point through a first inductive element, and another end is electrically connected to the ground element. The feeding element and the first element are spaced by a coupling gap, and the feeding element is coupled to a signal source through a matching circuit.

The center base has several extension legs extending from the center base, and each antenna extends from an end of the corresponding extension leg opposite to the center base, so as to form the antenna module symmetrically arranged around the center base. The type of the antenna may be a single-frequency antenna and a dual-frequency antenna. The antenna module is an integral structure formed by directly bending a single metal plate, thus greatly reducing the volume and the manufacturing cost of the antenna module. Moreover, with the design of the center base and a symmetrical antenna group, the antenna module is capable of receiving and transmitting signals with two or more frequency bands, thus greatly increasing the application range of the antenna module.
