Abstract: A system and method for monitoring the state of an individual. The method includes providing a stimulus to the individual, measuring a response to the provided stimulus, comparing the measured response to an expected response, and diagnosing one or more aspects of disease in accordance with the result of the comparison between the measured response and the expected response. The stimulus may be a predetermined test sequence, such as a visually displayed predetermined sequence of images, or may include observation of the physical response of the individual while performing one or more predetermined activities. Stored images or video of the individual responding to one or more test sequences may be stored in a lossy or lossless state, and thus security and de-identification may be provided to stored data. This stored data may also be de-identified in a manner to allow for the answering of the greatest number of future questions.

Abstract: Systems and methods for image processing of a skin feature may include receiving from at least one image sensor associated with a mobile communications device a first and a second images of a skin feature. The skin feature has multiple segments of differing colors and differing sizes, and the second image is captured at least a day after the first image is captured. The method may further include analyzing data associated with the first and second images to determine a condition of the skin feature based on changes over time of the multiple segments. The method may also include determining, based on the determined condition of the skin feature, a medical action for treating the skin feature during a time period. Then, the method may include causing a mobile communications device to display information indicative of the determined medical action.

Abstract: A medical record management assembly includes a personal electronic device which stores operational software comprising a medical history of a patient to facilitate the patient to control access to their medical history. The personal electronic device is in remote communication with an extrinsic communication network. A remote data storage device is in remote communication with the extrinsic communication network thereby facilitating the remote data storage device to communicate with the personal electronic device thereby facilitating the medical history to be stored in a centralized location. The remote data storage device is in remote communication with a plurality of health care systems thereby facilitating the personal electronic device to communicate the selected portions of the medical history to the plurality of health care systems. In this way the personal electronic device can facilitate health care professionals to access the selected portions of the medical history for analysis.

Abstract: Systems and methods for surfacing contextually relevant data into the workflow of a third party system are discussed herein. The system implements a near-real-time method of detecting activity corresponding to particular electronic health records associated with particular patients in third-party systems using specifically configured software systems. A cloud-based micro-services architecture is communicably coupled to the third-party systems and is operable to transmit contextually relevant data to the third-party system in response to particular detected activities, such as accessing a patient's electronic health record. The contextually-relevant data is identified by comparing electronic health record data from various third-party systems, each third-party system associated with the particular patient, to determine gaps in the records. The contextually relevant data is transmitted to the third-party system and visually integrated into the third-party system's pre-existing clinical workflow.

Abstract: In order to improve workflow efficiency and/or patient experience during a scan procedure, a system is proposed to provide—prior to arrival at the hospital—an indication of the suitability of a patient to be assigned to a specific level of autonomy in a medical scanning procedure. The system comprises a scan simulation module, a patient monitoring module, and a patient profile generation module. The scan simulation module comprises one or more sensory stimulation devices configured to apply at least one sensory stimulus over a patient to simulate a scan environment that may be experienced by a patient during a scan procedure. The patient monitoring module comprises one or more sensors configured to acquire data of the patient in the simulated scan environment. The patient profile generation module is configured to determine a state of anxiety of the patient based on the acquired data and to create a patient profile comprising the determined state of anxiety of the patient in the simulated scan environment.
