摘要: Disclosed is an integrated device for faeces sampling and occult blood detection, which has functions of quantitative collection, dissolution, filtration, detection with immune test strips of the faecal sample, and is convenient to carry and operate, and the device does not leak any liquid during storage, transportation and detection. The device can accurately collect a constant sample with no pollution and leakage, and can quickly determine results of occult blood without the aid of other items. The device can detect faecal occult blood at any time and at any place, can help to overcome the problem of low rate of inspection due to the inconvenience of faeces submission and inspection, further promote the detection of faecal occult blood, and can improve the early diagnosis and screening rate of colorectal cancer of the population.

摘要: A system for measuring the blood loss comprises a measuring device that determines the hemoglobin concentration of fluid within a container utilizing a light source and a light detector. The container receives blood and other fluids from a patient during a medical procedure. Light from the light source is passed through the blood and other fluids in the container and is detected by the light detector. Based upon a magnitude of light detected, the hemoglobin concentration of the fluid in the container can be determined. A volume-measuring device determines the volume of blood and fluid in the container. Knowing the hemoglobin concentration and volume of fluid in the container, the volume of patient blood loss in the container can be determined. The blood loss measuring device in combination with infusion systems maintains a real-blood volume status so that proper infusion of blood, crystalloid and/or colloid solutions occurs.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods and systems for assaying a sample for an analyte. Methods according to certain embodiments include illuminating a sample with a slit-shaped beam of light, detecting light transmitted through the sample, determining absorbance of the transmitted light at one or more wavelengths and calculating concentration of the analyte based on the absorbance to assay the sample for the analyte. Systems for practicing the subject methods are also described.

摘要: There is provided a urine test device for detecting the presence of one or more compounds in urine. The test device comprises a base portion having a detection portion and a flexible attachment portion. The detection portion displays a change when the presence of any one of one or more compounds is detected in urine. The flexible attachment portion is movable from a first configuration to a second configuration in which the flexible attachment portion is extended to enable attachment to a toilet bowl.

摘要: Provided is a method of detecting a biological material, by which quantitative measurement can be performed easily. The method of detecting a biological material in a sample includes: mixing, with the sample, a fusion protein (C) in which a protein (A) capable of binding the biological material and a chemiluminescent protein (B) are fused together and a substrate for the chemiluminescent protein (B); and observing a luminescent signal from the sample, wherein the protein (A) and the protein (B) are linked in such a manner that resonance energy transfer can occur, the protein (A) is either a protein (A1) that can emit fluorescence in a state where the biological material is bound thereto or a protein (A2) capable of binding an autofluorescent molecule as the biological material, and the protein (B) can excite fluorescence or autofluorescence of the protein (A) with its luminescence energy.
