    Abstract: A processing unit for rotational processing includes at least two processing cylinders and a machine frame. A first processing cylinder is movably mounted in the machine frame, a second processing cylinder is stationarily mounted in the machine frame and a pair of support members is provided for each respective processing cylinder. A respective support member of the second processing cylinder has a solid joint, a manipulator and an annular segment attached to the solid joint and contacting one support member of the first processing cylinder. A solid joint is linearly displaceable by the manipulator and an annular segment is linearly displaceable therewith. A gap dimension between the processing cylinders can therefore be adjusted in a simple, accurate manner with precise repeatability. A label printing machine having the processing unit is also provided.

    Abstract: A manufacturing method of an organic thin film transistor includes: forming source and drain electrodes on a substrate; irradiating a photosensitive outer surface with a first charge of a photosensitive roller by laser to pattern the photosensitive outer surface and forming a channel pattern area without charge; spraying an atomized organic material solution with a third charge having same polarity as the first charge onto the channel pattern area to make the organic material solution be absorbed onto the channel pattern area and thereby form a channel region layer; attaching a fourth charge having an opposite polarity to the third charge onto a surface of the substrate disposed with the source and drain electrodes; and transferring a channel pattern in the channel region layer onto the substrate and connected with the source and drain electrodes and thereby forming a channel region. A manufacturing apparatus also is provided.

    Abstract: Embodiments of a system are described. In one embodiment, the system includes an ink template platform having a surface for engaging an ink template. The ink template may have a recess or engraving for receiving ink. Supports are configured to slideably position the ink template platform between a first and second position. The first position is a position for receiving ink, and the second position for delivering ink. The system also includes an ink capsule biased on a surface of the ink template. The ink capsule is slidably positionable on the ink template to deliver ink to the recess in response to the platform being positioned in the ink receiving position. An ink capsule biasing member applies a pressure to the ink capsule that is sufficient to remove excess ink from the ink template. Other embodiments of the system are also described.

    Abstract: An endcap for a cylinder for use in a customization system for tubular articles. The endcap has a minimized geometry to maximize the surface area of the tubular article available for printing. The endcap may be limited in size so that the endcap is limited to an endface of the cylinder. The endcap may also have a shape that limits the amount of material in the endcap, such as an X-shape.
