Abstract:
A work apparatus has a motor for driving a tool, an operator-controlled element for the motor and a blocking device. The blocking device has an actuating element having a blocking position and an unblocking position. The operator-controlled element is blocked for the operation of the drive motor when the actuating element is in its blocking position. When shifted from the blocking position into the unblocking position, the actuating element is moved in a first direction and in a second direction. The first direction is into the housing part and the second direction runs perpendicular hereto. A compulsory guide is configured to, during movement of the actuation element in the second direction from the blocking position in a direction toward the unblocking position, initially move the actuation element in a direction opposite to the first direction before the actuation element can be moved in the first direction.
Abstract:
The invention concerns an arrangement to capture passively a broken saw chain of a chain saw with a guide bar that is arranged such that it can pivot, comprising a stationary screen that forms part of a sawing box and that covers a rear part of the saw. In order to achieve a cheap and efficient protection there is arranged between an end surface of the screen and the guide bar an energy-absorbing brake member that is sufficiently elastic or flexible to receive the kinetic energy from a broken saw chain, to direct kinetic energy away from the chain and to regain its normal form after it has suffered an impact from and been deformed by the chain.
Abstract:
A field sawbuck having a tree gripper forming a top side fulcrum for holding an end of a felled tree and a tree engaging arm for pivoting the felled tree about the fulcrum to bring the felled tree to an elevated condition whereby the limbs can be removed and the tree can be conviently cut into desired length without concern for pinching or binding the saw or having the saw blade accidentally contact a support soil for the felled tree as well a method for delivering a felled tree to a field sawbuck that can cantileverly support the felled tree during the process of removing limbs from the tree or during the process of field cutting of the felled tree into firewood lengths.
Abstract:
A handheld power working machine includes a main body including a driving part, a working part provided in the main body and configured to drive by the driving part, and a gripper provided to be able to rotate with respect to the main body. The gripper includes a restriction part configured to be able to switch between at least a restriction state where the gripper is restricted from rotating with respect to the main body and a release state where the gripper can rotate by releasing the restriction state, and switching operation parts configured to perform switching operation to switch between the restriction state and the release state in the restriction part. Respective switching operation parts are disposed in at least one side and the other side of the gripper in a rotating direction.
Abstract:
A spacer for a thermal plate in semiconductor processing includes a base substrate having a top surface defined thereon, a wafer having a bottom surface covering a portion of the base substrate, and a plurality of air passages formed in between the bottom surface of the wafer and the base substrate. The air passages connect the bottom surface of the wafer to an ambience.
Abstract:
Method of manufacturing granulates or continuous strips intended for feeding an extrusion machine, formed of a gel comprising at least, as majority elastomer, a styrene thermoplastic elastomer and more than 200 phr of an extender oil, each element of the granulate having a given surface area. The granulate element is sized so that the compactness, of a granulate element, is less than a value decreasing from 1500 m−1 to 375 m−1 and deposited on the surface of said granulates is an anti-tack agent having a value increasing from 2 cm3 to 8 cm3 per m2 of granulate surface area, when the mean size of the particles of said anti-tack agent increases from a value of 1 μm to 100 μm.
Abstract:
A handheld work apparatus has a motor unit comprising a drive motor. The drive motor drives a tool of the work apparatus, for example a saw chain. The apparatus has a grip unit with a handle that is vibrationally decoupled from the motor unit via an antivibration element. The antivibration element is connected to a first component of the grip unit via a holding device and a second component of the motor unit via a holding element. Arranged in the connection of the first component to the second component through the antivibration element is a predetermined breaking point formed in a third component that is replaceable independently of the first component and the second component. The strength of the connection of the first component to the second component through the antivibration element is lowest at this predetermined breaking point.
Abstract:
A fixed operating knob is rotatably arranged on a chain saw body. The fixed operating knob comprises a knob body, a tab, a torsion spring, and a lock member. The knob body is rotatably attached to the chain saw body. The tab is attached to the knob body. The tab is attached so as to be capable of swinging between an operating position projecting from the knob body and a storing position stored in the knob body. The torsion spring biases the tab toward the operating position. When the tab moves to the storing position, the lock member retains the tab at the storing position against a biasing force of the torsion spring.
Abstract:
A portable handheld work apparatus includes a drive motor (26) which drives a work tool via a drive shaft (25). The work apparatus further includes a brake drum (8), which is connected to the drive shaft so as to rotate therewith, and an oil pump (15) which is driven by the drive shaft (25) via a drive worm gear (20). A simple configuration and a long service life are obtained when the drive worm gear (20) is formed on a pot-shaped component (31). The edge (30) of the pot-shaped component (31) is connected to the brake drum so as to rotate therewith. The pot-shaped component is self supported in the region of its base (40) on the drive shaft (25).
Abstract:
A combined fuel tank and handle unit for a motorized, handheld tool includes a substantially closed volume, a handle, and a joint between two parts of the unit. The joint protrudes a distance beyond the surrounding surfaces. At least one rib is disposed at a distance from the joint on the underside of the tool.
