摘要： A slim-sized, dual makeup applicator provides two applicators for cosmetic product application or maintenance. The applicators are contained or removably fitted within a single body, providing for a compact arrangement. A longitudinal base has two opposing distal ends, each distal end having either an attached applicator that extends longitudinally outward from the longitudinal base or a recess within the longitudinal base for fitting and containing therein a removable applicator. According to an embodiment, a removable cap may be included to expose and cover the attached applicator. The attached applicator or the removable cap may be configured to contain a cosmetic product for application with the attached applicator; and for the removable applicator portion, the removable applicator or the recess may be configured to contain a cosmetic product for application with the removable applicator.

摘要： Systems and methods for extracting hair follicle from underneath an external surface of the skin are provided. The systems may include a first member and a counter pressure device. The first member may define a first bore and may have a longitudinal axis. A portion of the first member may be configured to be moved below an external surface of a skin. The first member may be configured to translate at least in a first direction along the longitudinal axis through a tissue and rotate about the longitudinal axis. The counter pressure device may be configured to interface with at least the external surface of the skin such that the tissue is disposed between the first member and the counter pressure device. The translation and rotation of the first member may result in cutting at least a portion of the tissue.

摘要： An epilator (100) comprising an epilating unit (1) for plucking and/or pulling hair (51) out of the skin (50) over an epilating width (E). Such an epilator is disadvantageous in that typically not all of the hairs are detected by the epilating unit (1) and some remain in the skin after the epilation. A subsequent epilation would then be required. In order to solve this problem, the epilator (100) has a hair removal unit (2) following the epilating unit (1) in the direction (B) of use, such that, in at least one operating mode, the hair removal unit (2) removes the hairs (51) that have not been pulled out by the epilating unit (1).

A second interval is set as the interval from when the drive mode is changed from the transition mode to the second drive mode until when the drive mode is changed from the second drive mode to the first drive mode. The first interval is shorter than the second interval.

摘要： Tools and methods are provided for removing biological units from a body surface utilizing a removal tool. The tools may incorporate retention members and mechanisms configured to impede movement of the biological unit in the direction of a distal end of the tool and to improve retention of the biological unit in the tool. Some of the retention members are stationary and some are movable within the lumen of the biological unit removal tools. The distal tips of the tools are desirably configured to reduce the chance of transection of a biological unit, such as by including both cutting segments and blunt relief segments. A number of dual concentric tube embodiments permit a division of removal functions. Distal fluid or gas delivery may be used to help separating biological units from surrounding tissue.

摘要： A non-aqueous liquid cleaning composition for applicators used for applying non-aqueous hair removal compositions to the skin. The composition includes a solubilizing oil effective for solubilizing the non-aqueous hair removal composition, e.g., mineral oil, and an effective antibacterial amount of an antibacterial agent, e.g., triclosan. The composition may also include fragrances and additional bacteriocides, e.g., phenoxyethanol. When the applicator is contacted with the heated cleaning composition any hair removal composition and bacteria on the applicator are removed therefrom and the applicator is ready for reuse. It is preferred to use surgical stainless steel applicators. Also provided are methods of using these compositions and kits containing, among other items, such compositions and applicators.
